I love stories of overcomers.. Many many famous and successful people overcame great obstacles. Einstein was expelled from school and his mother told he will never be able to learn. Marilyn Monroe was told she was not attractive enough to be a model or actress and that she should be a secretary. There are so many examples of this. Thank you. There is so much to be grateful for. Those who are forgiven much, love much. ❤

Love the discussion about being grateful. I almost died from cancer, been locked up, was dealt a bad hand with a lifelong disease amongst many other difficulties but at one point in my life I finally turned my mindset around by recognizing what I have: family, friends, being able to still have the privilege to breathe and eat, but most importantly recognizing that God is real and is my driving strength in all aspects of my life. You two are giving out lessons in life which might change people for the better as long as they take the time to really listen, and it's important what you're doing. Thank you🙏 *how can I forget the final point you mentioned, even the Bible says "...but the greatest of these is love" and it is so so true.

This is so on the money. I was in the Infantry for 27 years and never expected to be alive at this age. Clean water, a bed and I stayed alone because of the job and knew I would only hurt somebodies feelings if I got close. I made it, am incredibly lucky and grateful and am surrounded by wonderful people (my biggest blessing is the people). I do not need a lot of food or water etc. The people are my PowerBalll. Thanks for you guys sharing this message.

I'm in the same boat. Did 14 years in the Army, 2 combat tours. I got out in 2012 because I could no longer run PT. I live alone in a foreign country, and have been single since I got out because I still hurt (physically and emotionally). Don't want to bother anybody with my issues. I live day to day. 😢

You are totally right Mr Franzese, I think people are quick to jump and assume people who come from a "no collar" business background are no good and have no positive traits. The reality is that business is business, you have to work hard and smart to earn a living no matter how you earn it !!

Hi I just want to thank you for your brutal honesty. It’s so refreshing and thank you for telling part of your life. It is pretty interesting. Praise the Lord for being able to turn your life around and help so many people we desperately need it right now and I totally agree with you about the family. That is the most important thing for these fathers and mothers to be here for these kids it’s a shame the way they’ve been torn apart, because the parents have to work to make enough money to make ends meet, hopefully this will all change. I have total faith that it will. Thanks again for taking the time out of your life to share your wisdom, strength and honor !! 💖💫🙏👍

What a great show. I really need to be more grateful. I am grateful that I got a great work ethic from my dad, RIP pops. I was extremely spoiled only child. My parents tried for years to have a kid, mom miscarried a couple times so I was truly their miracle baby. I guess I can't blame them, but I need to appreciate and be grateful for what I do have. Thank you Michael & Chazz!

Michael is absolutely right about the breakdown of the family being a root cause of many problems that America faces today. I believe that is why family values are being attacked by those who wish to have control over us. It is easier to influence people who don't have strong moral values.

As a musician, I've been playing music now fourteen years I'm still hungry and I still go at it, everything in my studio was either found in the trash and put back together or somebody gave it to me, and what I can attest to is, the arts you need to be ready to starve and I will say this the hungrier you become the better your music sounds I agree with mr palmatarie, it ain't easy but it's worth it.

18:08, Mr F shares his experience of being in prison, speaking with those who've done time, etc. He shares that he's learned that a breakdown in the family unit, or people growing up without a family, a lot of the time leads to who they become, getting in gangs, getting in trouble, etc. I'm retired, but worked inside. What Mr Franzese says is 100% (everything he says is 100%, lol). Believe it or not, once you earn the respect of those who live inside, I can't tell you how many times they are willing to share things with you, even want your advice on some pretty personal stuff. So yeah, those adults I worked around, definitely confess that they wish they had a home life, they wish they grew up with the family, a father, or many times even a mother. To absolutely give them credit, most of them took total responsibility for the way they became as an adult. But yeah, it starts at childhood.

I absolutely loved when you got on the small topic of Social Media. And you guys are right it's a blessing but also a curse. Because I'm a young man myself but I can see how some people use it for the wrong reasons. For me I try to use it for entertainment and occasionally inspire but I don't abuse it so much. I have met and gotten to know many great people through social media but I've also come across people that are just absolute lowlife scum bags, bullies, people that try to break other's spirits or trying to make them be like they are. Those are the people I don't associate with. I'm 23 soon to be 24 this year and I'm young but I also have the knowledge like an old school individual. And I give credit to my father for planting that in my brain and I also thank you guys for the knowledge you give out and try to inspire others to do better. Bless both of you!
