Well, I tried. Ardour6 crashes whenever I try to open a session, Ardour 7 isn't in FreeBSD packages yet and zrythm doesn't show the proper UI for Calf plugins and also crashes before I can even attempt to do anything useful.

Why should I care buying an audio interface with more inputs than preamps if it makes me record only a number of tracks limited to the preamps?

Hey, thanks! I hope this track serves as a showcase of what can be done with strictly open-source software and Linux :) As for inputs - I guess you might be able to capture line-level signals or maybe DI signals from guitars? I assume the preamps are strictly meant for microphones?

Thanks! I don't have a subwoofer, I did test it on 8" studio monitors apart from ATH M50x BT headphones. I did get similar feedback before, but I have done 2 mixing session to rectify that and I did check the subs throughout the track. Maybe your sub is only playing stuff below 30 Hz? :D

Nice music! Always nice and unfortunately so rare to see musicians not being unethical scumbags (knowingly or not). Where's the source for it (e.g. project files, samples, VST config, and everything needed for somebody of average competence to rerender the song to be identical to what you've uploaded here, as well to modify it with the same ease (familiarity notwithstanding) that you can)? I checked out the links in the description, browsed your github, et cetera, and did not find it. The closest thing I found was a single mp3 file of the lossy rendered audio, and even examining its metadata did not yield the location of the source. Perhaps I'm blind and I just missed out, but I think I've done enough of the research to bother you to ask you to direct me to the canonical location of the source (also doubling as a bug report of it not being found easily enough!), so please do so, thank you.
