While I agree with your comment, simply as an outline of the situation, which would not establish the boyfriend as a wonderful human, I do have to say, just going by the timeline assuming this boyfriend is her age maybe even a little bit younger because she’s quite immature, so I could easily see her hooking up with a guy a little younger that would have put him in his mid maybe late 20s I’m thinking he was probably about 25-26 she was 27-28 if it was 5-6 years ago since her son is 5. Soooo I really can’t judge a young man in his 20s for participating in an affair with a married woman. I mean yes, in an ideal world every young man and young woman would know this is wrong and not participate but in reality? Especially because we know absolutely nothing about the boyfriend… His background, etc. just looking at it from the outside, he’s a 20 something kid partying with a woman he clearly found attractive and I’m sorry, but there’s a whole lotta men in that age group who would have done the exact same thing so I don’t think that would mark him as a bad person. Now let’s fast forward his life 15 years if he is 40 and doing this particularly the other way around with you know a 20 something girl, and he is married then we can judge him 😂😂

Everything and anything bad is narcissism nowadays. Also everybody has trauma. And ADHD. Some facts: less than 1% of population has narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). The NPD was about to be removed from American Psychiatry diagnostic manual back in 2013 due to lack of scientific evidence (like in they run bunch of population research and it turned out there are no such people in the population). But it stayed in the DSM-V because clinicians insisted that in "their practice" such a people exist. And also in Freud books, so you know that's important too. Google "narcissism doesnt exist" and you will get some articles from 2013 talking about it from New York Times and other mainstream papers/magazines. Including interviews with actual neurologists who did the research in question. But then Trump became president and all the media started talking about narcissism. Not every person that doesn't adhere to your moral standards is narcissists. Besides for moral issues there is religion and not science of psychology. Witch hunting should rest in middle-ages. Fun fact: I took my wife to couple therapy where I insisted she is a narcissist. The therapists insisted I'm the one at first. Then they decided it is my wife projecting so strong that they made mistake. They left us so confused that we ended up at different place for couple therapy where they say I'm ADHD and my wife is a masochist. If you go to five different psychologists and you hear 5 completely different diagnosis you start to realize what kind of "science" this is. They have no idea. And most importantly they don't take responsibility for absolutely anything. You can sue your doctor for malpractice. Them you can't as they have different schools of thought quite often stating opposite things. So if you go to one psychologist they may claim you are addicted to food. Another one might claim you have eating disorder. While yet another will claim none of these 2 are correct and that you are just worrying about eating too much because you have general anxiety disorder. It is nowadays magic and idiocy for people who have too much free time on their hands.
