I just purchased otterbox XT for my iPhone 15 wasn’t hard to put in the phone very protective case, I did drop the phone few times and nothing happened to the phone. Nice video bro.

I wish someone would talk about companies trying to fool us saying the case fits 13,14 and 15’s. aka otterbox. The iPhone 15 is 1.5 millimeters taller. Lots of cases don’t fit.

Good rundown! I’m surprised that there are recommendations for this year from otterbox. Looks like the grip case is a good pop socket competitor. I’m surprised the grip doesn’t get in the way of MagSafe accessories. Glad you’re reviewing the brands every year because I had no idea there were so many differences year to year that could be an annoyance or betterment of the cases.

You shouldn’t have a problem with any of them if you have the right screen protector. Not all screen protectors are made the same. Some protectors aren’t made with cases in mind, but unfortunately they don’t usually tell you if they are or aren’t. Otterbox has their own screen protectors on their site that you can buy and you won’t have any problems with those. I have the iPhone 12 right now and have the same screen protector and defender xt on it since I bought the phone, so their products are good in both departments.

@@AndrewFF350z pro max have better battery life and 5x zoom as the only difference though (both being big differences but not so significant you need to spend the extra couple bucks)

I just purchased the ottergrip for my iPhone 15 pro I went with black since I think black cases look the best. I like the case but the back scratches easily I’m not so found of that. Why would Otterbox not add some scratch coating to the back of the case. They have plain plastic backs for a lot of there cases do they all scratch too. The ottergrip comes in a light blue and yellow orange colour maybe the scratches would not be as noticeable on those colours. Have you seen and scratches on your black ottergrip?

Yeah I know what you mean, it’s the material choice. I’ve had other cases with exactly the same material, like Rhinoshield which have exactly the same issue. Once you drop them, they are completely deformed on the corner.

@@Unfilterd thanks for the reply I have not dropped this ottergrip yet but it’s getting like micro scratches and you can see them and you are absolutely right it’s the material. I like to keep my cases pristine so I don’t like seeing scratches on the back of my cases. Do you think a different colour would be better maybe the black shows them more. I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

⁠​⁠@@Paa375Otterbox’s aren’t exactly made with style as a first priority. They first started out as a heavy work case and have stuck to that throughout the years. They pride themselves on making cases that will protect your phones and don’t worry about the looks very much. I’ve always used the defender cases since my first iPhone, iPhone 3, and all the times I have dropped all of my phones, not one has broken. If you don’t want one that scratches, I would suggest going with one of their cases that doesn’t have the plastic on the outer layer, like the Symmetry. But you do sacrifice protection over looks.
