Oh my goodness, thank you for saying what you're saying. I don't have any military wife friends and when I talk about the things I'm going through, everyone says things like "well, you knew what you were signing up for," or they look at me like I'm crazy when I act like him coming home might be anything other than a fairy tale. It's like they don't remember what it was like to move in with someone for the first time. Le sigh.

I feel the same way. My husband is going into basic and I can't help but think that there will be an affair. It scares me to the point I want to close myself off. Especially now that we have two kids of our own🙂

In Korea if you are command sponsored, you will have to live there for 2 years. You have to think they have to move the family and all out there so to make it cost efficient they are going to keep you there longer. As a soldier who was stationed in Korea, most people married or not go to Korea and just knock out that year without their spouse so they can come back to America and move on with their life. That being said, if I was married, I would've totally brought my spouse out there. I loved Korea and wouldn't have minded living there for 2 years.

The daycare on army base cost 638 monthly with the CDC When their on deployment you can get somewhere under 40 hours of free childcare for drop in, it’s nothing.The medical is basic need a referral for any specialist and they pick. Wait at the military hospital hours 3-5 I’ve had better days, old vets get treated like nobody at the hospital it’s sad. After each deployment you need integration counseling there is a lot of fights. Cheating is always you may not even know it can be lunchtime. I see people with different peoples spouses all the time. Fights: a girl set a girl up she came to the house they closed the door beat her up and sent her out, who is she going to tell. She wasn’t supposed to be there. Many contract marriages girls get mad when the money doesn’t flow right.DV is a issue too but in my base it’s taken serious. A lot of the dependapotamouses can be a little touched or weird it depends. Some are young and immature

I'm getting so nervous. I know that the army will always have his back no matter what he does. He just joined and we have a 6 month old daughter and I'm in school full time. He wants me to stop school and live on base. What will living on base be like? He has anger issues and I just know that even if he did something the army would cover him as they always do.

@@KeoshaKeonia It's the part about infidelity. I'm starting feb 2022 as an IT Officer (Dutch Military). I am loyal, have 3 kids and made good money to provide in the past 3 years. I pray my woman doesn't drink when I'm away from home. That will definitely make her weary and she might slip up. Was looking for stories of the infidelity of army wives.
