I am not a military spouse. But some of these tips will really help as my future husband has been long distance and ill for almost a year now. We have the changing dates and the uncertainties of news and having to keep connected and keep hope alive. Supporting him as been a challenge since he is experiencing hardships that I am not while I cannot be there physically with him due to Covid. Thank you for your tips

As a spouse of retired veteran one peice of advice is when the member comes back from deployment immediately include them in all family routines including chores. It took me awhile to let my spouse into my routine because i didnt know when they would be gone again i paid all the bills and did everything. He said he felt like a guest. I was independant and had trouble with routine changes. ❤ Never fight while they are on deployment. Sometime normal marital issues get exasperated because roght in the middle of sorting things out theyget sent away.

Hello, If you don’t mind me asking. How old was your husband when he joined? My husband is 28 and he’s enlisting next week! I’m 25, i feel like we’re old In the military world 😂 thank you for this video ❤️ love from Texas
@BBMcHugh2 жыл бұрын
Hey! He will definitely be on the older side of his flight but it’s not too big of a deal! We know several who joined later in life! I think they typically get treated better for not being young and dumb lol my husband was 23 when he joined and was considered “old”. Haha
