protective, WHAT , more like an accessory , the police should have been called, not a church, not a pastor, the police should have been called, charges should have been pressed and she should be in prison, she molested a child, the child reported it to adults, and nobody called the police.... they HELPED a child molester escape jail, the allowed that child molester to go free to molest other children , they should all be ashamed

We don't express ourselves and deal with issues because we are raised to know that nobody actually cares. We process things internally because we are the only person we can trust. Good women are halfway screwed. The hoes always make themselves available. I believe this is why we now have a bunch of fellas who decided they're ladies. Ladies have it made and men are screwed. This happens from the ground up thru the legal system. More men need to recognize what they are before they can be open about themselves. We have been trained to forget that we are the most dangerous critter in the world. Once we get that back and women start acting like they actually want to l, we will be better off

Predatory behavior by women has unfortunately been weirdly romanticized in our culture when it is just as wrong and damaging as men preying on young girls. Unacceptable. I'm so sorry to hear you dealt with this. I am so glad to hear about how your father handled this impossible situation and how he respected your wish but encouraged you to help stop a predator from taking other victims....but wow. No counseling, making a victim apologize to an adult....I'm sadly not surprised to hear that the fallout was bungled horribly by the church.

I feel like young boys being sexually abused by older women are very common. My husband told me he first had sex at 14 with an older woman. In his eyes he is a man. But it completely messed up his head and how he views women and sex. It's so sad. There should be more awareness on this topic.

I dont know, i told my husband the story and he said it would not have impacted him negatively. I dont think hes messed up. I mean, as a woman i can see how it would mess a girl up and so I can imagine how a boy could feel. I think even worse is the way the church handled it in my opinion.

@vc e 1 homi barata writing in all caps doesn't add validity to your comment, it just makes it really irritating to read. Even if the underage person were horny or tried to initiate (which clearly wasn't the case in this situation) the adult is still the person in power and morally responsible. You are basically trying to argue that it's the underage person's fault for tempting the adult, very suspicious.

@CANADIAN UKRANIAN how in the world is that victim blaming
@michalovesanime
@michalovesanime Жыл бұрын
@CANADIAN UKRANIAN who is the vicitm in this situation? The young boy. Who was the commenter talking about? Specific group of grown men. What are these specific men claiming? That young boys should enjoy being raped. Why? Because those men have probably never experienced it and had fantasies growing up of possibly having sex with a hot teacher. Or they have gone through the same experience and were shamed or gaslighted to believe that it was something positive. So how is a comment of someone DISAGREEING with the grown men victim blaming? Victim blaming is putting the responsibility/blame of safety onto the victim. The commenter obviously doesn't think it's okay for a grown woman to rape or sexually assault a young boy. Reading comprehension is important. I hope you do a better job at listening to understand at work.

He lured me into his vehicle under the condition he was going to show me the yard he was talking about. But he didn't. He driving around in wooded areas where there was no houses until he found a spot to force himself on me. I ended fighting him off and getting away but I held this story in for years. Which led to spiral out control. It wasn't till almost forty. When I told someone. By that time I was suffering from PTSD. Which is known as post truamdic stress syndrome. You were very brave and it was not your fault. Good you are now able to tell your horrible story with that child predator. I think parents should also teach children or teenagers even to never go alone with an adult anywhere, specially if it is a stranger, because if you do not know the person, you can never know their intentions. Your story also reminds me of John Wayne Gacy that used his work and construction company to lure teenage boys that wanted to work and earn a bit of money.

That whole scene, from glaring from across the hall to the end was definitely not of human origin. Same with premeditated bedroom scene. Same with the piggyback guy. They need punishment, yes, but also deliverance. Otherwise they’ll just repeat no matter how much punishment they receive. It’s great this guy came forth and his father stood up for him. Imagine if he’d grown up with a single mother and the neighbor knew him from a younger age. He’d be a blue-haired basket case.

I found my 38 year old husband spooning with his 16 year old niece. His brother had just died and he was "comforting her". Did it infront of pretty much his whole family. They didn't know we had just had sex. Totally disgusting. I left and divorced him. Church going Christians. He refused to finalize the divorce for 2 years and then died of a heart attack. Found out he had a warrant out for molesting his friends 7 year old daughter. I thought we were supposed to expose evil when we see it and not condone it. I was a school bus driver...had I stayed with him he would have ruined my reputation along with everything else. I had to go back to truck driving because I couldn't sustain myself financially on a school bus salary. I miss those days and I miss those kids who are now grown up with families of their own. We had a few troubles pop up aswell. A coach had a year long sexual affair with a 15 year old student. Dude was 30 with a wife and kids. There's like predators EVERYWHERE... I used to want kids desperately and a family...but now I see in this world I would be worried frantically sick everyday about my kid. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

This is the reason I am Antinatalist. Google the term. I had the best, most loving caring watchful parents and I can't count on both my hands the amount of people who sexually assaulted me from the time I was a toddler. While my parents were home. Yeah, that pretty much wakes you up to the brutal truth that this isn't all that great of a place you are bringing your child into. Fellow Michigander here. I am so sorry you went through this. Sexual immorality is high on the list of things that Christ doesn't condone. Yet, churches like this, shelter sexual predators and almost encourage the abuse. In my church every adult has a background check. If you have a shady past, the church is notified as a whole group. You are then required to always have a chaperone to make sure no funny business goes on, and to prevent false accusations. There is to be at least 2 adults present in every Sabbath school class or other children's ministry. We take protecting children and vulnerable adults seriously.

The man's father was so close to handling this the right way. If only the Church had not had to be involved. Counseling might have benefited this man, but it would have had to be the right kind of Counseling. Other men have spoken up about being sexually abused, and then having the professional who was supposed to be helping them through it say the most asinine things, the most damaging things.

Good word brother. I work with kids and they admire godly men and very good to be affirming but acknowledging you are the teacher, not family. It is so good to show Jesus to them in godly care without touching. I serve with my wife. God bless you in giving this testimony as an overcomer.

Justin!!! I couldn’t believe I saw you here. I’m so sorry you went through this! I had no idea! I’m so sorry you went through this. So many stories are coming out of AABC that it’s so hard to hear and I did notice some strange behaviour of some individuals. Sending much love and thanks for sharing this. (You led singing in our wedding and I shuttled of the Britain. ) I’m thankful your dad was so vigilant.

My husband was abused by all his aunties since 11yo. That set his mind to how he sees womans as an adult. He doesn't believe it was abuse because he was a boy. Today he is misogynistic, objectifying womans. We're been working hard to reset his mind, specially now that he has a 15yo daughter. I'm still working his way to teraphy

As someone who has spent years disentangling from very fundamental influences, I swear that the more legalistic a group gets the more abuse becomes rampant. It's like there is a false sense of security that comes with hyperreligious regulations.

I love that you share your story with such courage when I think back about being raped by a person that I did love and also as an abuser, it’s hard to say those two things in the same sentence, and make it make sense like I don’t even know what it sounds like to even say that out loud, but I know how it felt to trust somebody that you loved and they would constantly hurt you but you still loved him at one point now I’m grown and I’ve had therapy. It doesn’t ever change the fact that I didn’t feel like I had the courage to talk about that the way that you did praying for you and I’m proud of you.❤

This is why I don't trust my son with anyone, but my family. I make sure I get jobs that are lenient so I can call off whenever my family can't watch him. If I have to go to class and my mom and sisters aren't available, I skip out on class and work. I put my son before work and college to prevent unnecessary trauma. I don't trust bfs and gfs or wives and husbands of family members either, just to make sure nothing happens to him. I teach him every so often not to be in closed spaces with people and that no one should touch him inappropriately. If he has to run from teachers or people, do so, and let the school or authorities call me and I'll sort it out. Gotta teach our kids awareness; too many predators out there. Most of all, I trust in God to protect my son.

that same thing happened to me when i was 16 and she was 29. it did not bother me and she was gearing up for us to get married. she had a daughter that was 2 years younger than me. she got another guy that was maybe 5 years older than me. he was in college. she was nice and ended it with me. the only thing i worried about was that it may have spoiled me too much. i just marked it up as a good experience. nobody that i know of has ever known about that. i told nobody. my mother and she were good friends. i do not think she ever knew.
