Haven’t received my copy, but listening to Toms single criticism about paying for the dice then getting your own sway token back I had a thought. What if you had to place the tokens on the opponents side of the mat to get to dice in the middle. The first still free but to get to the second you place one token on the opponents closest die

Tis looks quite similar to a 2016 game by Alex Berry, "High Treason: The Trial of Louis Riel"; which deals with a pivotal moment in Canadian History. I quite enjoyed tat game and will probably enjoy this one. Thanks

Either is fine. People commonly say 'hung, drawn and quartered' or 'X was hung for treason' in the UK.

Not at all, actually it is inspired by 7 Wonders Duel

The only thing this and Lawyer Up have in comparison is that they both use a courtroom as a setting. Other than that, there is no comparison to be made.

Bad take. It plays absolutely nothing like Watergate. Watergate is asymmetrical with drawing from individual separate decks and playing cards from hand. This game is symmetrical with three rounds of drafting from a display of shared cards. Those cards are used as resources to draft better cards and earn progress towards one of three win conditions. If you said it looks like a rip off of 7 Wonders Duel, that would be a valid critique. But the only think it has in common with Watergate is cards with historical characters/events on them.
