I’m here for your reactions 😂 I will put in plugs for The Heart Principle and Jade City. I am usually not a romance reader, especially if it’s hetero. However, the late diagnosed autism rep was SO GOOD. I consumed the audiobook over one weekend, and found myself crying many times because I felt so seen. Also, good healthy masculinity rep? Jade City is like a Hong Kong film noir but make it fantasy! Great toxic masculinity rep lol

For me sometimes it depends on my state of mind at the time like I may not be in the mindset of an epic fantasy so I may be not engaged but a few months later when life circumstances change I may be in a different mood. I have come back to books years after I DNF them and love them the second try

That's pretty sad. I'm not a reader. I didn't read a single book last year, but I've read three so far this year. Maybe your not reading the books on your list, because your picking crap books? I don't understand why people force themselves to read books they don't want to read .
