UNHCR's Protection Chief On Strengthening Protection of Refugees, IDPs And Stateless

The UN refugee agency on Thursday,3 October, 2013, called for strengthening the protection of refugees, the stateless and internally displaced people (IDPs) to ensure they enjoy their full human rights.
Volker Türk, UNHCR's Director of International Protection proposed specific goals in a major speech in Geneva to UNHCR's Executive Committee, which meets annually to set policy for the refugee agency. Protection is the core responsibility of the organization.

May GOD BLESS the UNHCR people. They have gone above and beyond for the cause of protecting and advancing the lives of refugees. Yes,it's not always perfect and they can't help every one,but what is a fact; is that the UNHCR has done more, then any other government or group of people's.

It would help to actually directly engage the stateless and refugees directly, to more accurately see what the problems are on the ground. As things stand, the experts in the field, especially on statelessness, are stuck in a "crystal palace," detached from the affected community and unaware of the barriers that that community faces. The recent rise of stateless-led organizations like Apatride Network may help resolve these gaps.

I'm a refugee in daadab camps who arrive 1992 and right now in the camp I'm kindly explaining here the problems that I'm having in the camp one .I'm, 20yrs old in the camp and yet not get any resettlement chance two. I'm orphans who has missed his two lovely parents in the civil war of Somalia and has no hope of going back to Somalia because it's we're I have missed my two lovely parents and the same same people who killed my two lovely parents are still there please I really need your help
