Brooke Gray no, it was 2017/2018 katya took a year off of drag, and it took a while for their relationship/friendship to even he rebuilt. If you’re confused on the depth of it all, KZbin “whimsically volatile- Trixie Mattel” it’s Katya and Craig’s podcast, it’s amazing. Katya went in deep on things that happened with her and Trixie, and I believe the very first episode of Katya’s Podcast was her going into what happened and clearing things up it was more than an hour in a half long. A lot happened while “moving parts” was being filmed, but that wasn’t all of it or their complete reconciliation etc. check her podcast out it’s amazing and beautiful and real. Katya announced her departure from drag in 2017 and it went into 2018 and moving parts was released for rent/buying December 15th,2019.

People need to stop writing that Katya was in rehab at this point, she wasn't. Katya was still performing until at least late november 2017, so the breakdown hadn't happened yet. The breakdown took place during the filming of the 2nd set of episodes for Viceland, which was after Viceland saw that the show was doing well and asked for more episodes, whilst this was before the show had even premiered. So no, they aren't mean for joking about this, they genuinelly didn't know that Katya would/had relapsed. Edit: Katya has said that she relapsed while she was on tour in Australia, which was in September to October, so she might not even have started drugs again at this point

Just to clarify it was completely meant to be taken as a joke I'm not some weirdo fangirl who reads fanfictions about drag queens and I was not forcibly removed as your friend claims I took about a minute or so Trixie just made a sarcastic comment because I said I had one more and people were laughing really hard at it so I assume that people found it funny.
