I recently purchased a Unicomp Spacesaver M for the Mac. It feels good to type on, like my IBM Model M that I've got stored away. I appreciate the fact that my keyboard is made in the USA whereas something like the Matias Tactile Pro is made in China.

I have always used a Model M with buckling springs whenever possible. I type pages and pages every day and have found that there is nothing like the feel of a Model M for someone who simply needs to sow fields of prose.

The model M is an absolute unit. I just got mine today and it's awesome to type on, especially compared to the cherry MX browns I was using before. Every key press just feels so substantial, it's awesome. I wish that more companies could make keyboards with buckling springs so we could get some variety in the build.

The only keyboard that is competitive with the Unicomp has an IBM logo and is over 20 years old. Nothing else comes close.

I think Unicomp M should be compare to a Topre Realforce though as a buckling spring are already way superior than a Cherry MX Switches. I had to quit using my Logitech G710 and switched to my old 1992 IBM Model M because of the sound itself and also how light the switches are on the MX Blue.

I may be the only one who likes the included mac keyboard. It took me about two weeks to get used to it and now I really like the flat keys with no travel.

I've done a lot of work on my Macbook keyboard, too. It works, no doubt.

I don't like the scissor switch but I do prefer them to typical rubber dome though
