No offence but you can specify interface in nmap also. It is done in such a way, -> nmap -sn -vv -e eth0 192.168.0.1 -e command is used to specify interface. It is not listed in --help menu but it exists. There are also many other commands that are not listed in help menu but do exist.

What is the difference between /usr/bin/ and /usr/bin/env e.g: /usr/bin/python3 and /usr/bin/env python3 /usr/bin/ruby and /usr/bin/env ruby /usr/bin/perl and /usr/bin/env perl I understand I have to use the shebang (#!), but what is the difference and when can I use them?

Maybe its down to making more portable across distros.

env - run a program in a modified environment. Running a command through /usr/bin/env has the benefit of looking for whatever the default version of the program is in your current environment. This way, you don't have to look for it in a specific place on the system, as those paths may be in different locations on different systems. As long as it's in your path, it will find it.

Hello sir, I am a beginner in ethical hacking and recently started learning Python (planning to advance ofc), also I will be buying a new laptop (my lags) and will setup a pen test lab. Is it a good idea? To be honest, after browsing forums and etc., I was left with no hope :/
