If you keep your finger on the clutch ready to go you'll have less stalling and when you're about to loose balance point you can pop the clutch a bit to keep it up

How much PSI do you run on your RAZRS? And mine are worn to about %40 tread which may be the issue
@EreksonJ
@EreksonJ 7 жыл бұрын
I run as low of pressure as I can (like 3-5 psi). My tires are like brand new. Those mud flats also had excellent traction that day. And, I throw my weight back pretty much as hard as I can, which is why my hand blistered, lol. But with that said, I can still pull wheelies like this on loose gravel and sand. You just need to be able to throw your weight around. I weigh 140 lbs without gear.

EreksonJ That is the sign of a healthy engine. I pushed mine down like that before and mine took off and idled away down the street haha had to take a video of it causing traffic! Sadly my phone was broken in an accident and was unable to recover the vid or else it would have been posted on my channel. Oh I also noticed as my blaster broke in, pushing it onto its wheels and starting it became less and less of an occurrence. I used to do it all the time to freak my friends out. What do you ride besides your blaster?

@EreksonJ
@EreksonJ 8 жыл бұрын
So, in this video I used two methods to get the wheels up. At first, I was dumping (or popping) the clutch. Using this method, I hold onto the clutch with two fingers, and get ready to wheelie in 2nd or 3rd gear. I slow down so that the motor is close to idle. Then, I pull in the clutch and rev it up. When the motor is in the meat of the power band, just let go of the clutch as fast as you can. At the same time, keep the throttle pinned wide open. The best seating position for this is as far back as you can sit with your arms straight. Keep your right foot ready to hit the back brake if you feel like you are going to wheelie over. Just give it a tap and the front will come right back down. The second method I used is called a "power wheelie." I began using this method because I got a blister on my left hand from holding the handlebars with only two fingers (@1:44). Using a power wheelie, you don't touch the clutch at all. You get it in second or first gear and slow down to some lower RPM's where you still have power. Start standing up a little bit, and when you want to wheelie, let off the gas to compress the suspension, then all at the same time you need to give it full throttle, and throw your body weight back as hard as you can to pull the front up. (I go from a standing to a seated position to help throw my weight back) It will be more difficult to power wheelie with a blaster because they don't have a lot of power. Other more powerful machines will take much less effort. Once the front wheels are up, just use the throttle and rear brake to find the balance point. I notice that my balance point is right about where my eyes are level with the fuel cap or the handlebars when they come up. Hope that helps :)

Thanks! The front fenders aren't stock. My wife rolled it and cracked the plastic. Other than that, it is mostly original. I upgraded the suspension to banshee front shocks and a 400ex shock in the rear as well. The front springs used to be pink. And I removed the stickers because I like the clean look better.

+Dinkers OB it depends on your gearing, but in this video I was doing power wheelies and clutch-ups in second. I know I can also just barely do clutch-ups in third. I find it easier to wheelie in third, if you can get it up.

Use your throttle & rear brake kinda at the same time to stay on the balance point (easier on a four stroke)practice on sand if you have some.Start out slow.second or third gear wheelie stay on or past the balance points,this keeps your speed slower & you can ride endless wheelies.Harder to learn on a quad because of the weight of the frontend it's much easier on 3 wheelers & 2 wheelers keep practicing & use that brake & throttle always have your foot over the brake pedal and you will never go over backwards ....(I buy the severe duty brake pads) my other youtube site is GWALLNUT666 sand lake

@EreksonJ
@EreksonJ 8 жыл бұрын
It's normal to get scared the first few times the front end comes up. You should know that the front end probably comes up a lot higher than you realize before you will wheelie over. To keep track of this, I use reference points on the bike when I wheelie. For example, keep your eyes on the horizon. Try bringing the front end high enough that the fender is on the horizon. Gradually work higher and higher until you reach a balance point. For me, this tends to be about when the gas cap is at eye level (in front of the horizon). It all depends on the riders size and the physics of the machine. But when you find your balance point, just bring the front end up to your reference point every time and then fine-tune your balance from there. VERY IMPORTANT: practice covering the rear brake when you wheelie. Practice bringing the front end down using the brake so that you do it automatically when you realize you are going over.

you think is hard ?
@EreksonJ
@EreksonJ 8 жыл бұрын
It depends. Learning on this blaster was pretty easy because I did not need to worry about damaging it if I went over. Other vehicles may be damaged if you wheelie over. Motorcycles are even harder because you can fall over to the side. Some machines do not wheelie easily because they are too heavy or do not have enough power. Automatic transmissions make wheelies much harder as well. Using the clutch to bring the front wheels up is much easier.
