UniFi Protect on my UniFi Talk VoIP Phone and Desk Reveal

I set up #UniFiTalk UVP Touch MAX in less than 2 minutes in the #TinyHome! I was able to make a call and watch my #UniFiProtect camera feeds in no time. Even made a call to mommy!

You answered a question I was wondering about with all the river table vids I've seen and that was scratches. All the stuff I have been doing are mixed media art pieces so scratches haven't been an issue.

I was very surprised about the scratches, but I’m glad I tried it. Mica powder colored epoxy hides those scratches way better. I’ve got a project I’m working on for the harbottle guys and I’m excited to try it.

Will the doorbell send a push notification to that phone. Or ring the phone so you can communicate with the doorbell?

When button is pressed it will notify you via text or email however you have it set up. When you click the notification the camera will pop up in your protect app and you can operate the doorbell functions from there.

Any device with two way audio. Ubiquiti’s smart doorbell for example works great.

Looks great - would love one for my Unifi rig - but no sign of it launching in Europe/Ireland as of yet. Question: can you port your existing landline number - is it $10/m sub per line? Think I read that somewhere.

I just discovered yesterday that I had a free trial it automatically signed me up for when I first hooked up the phone. After that it had me log into my UniFi portal where my “talk” category gave me a subscription offer for $10 a month. Which is a pretty good deal considering.

You can port numbers (at least in USA, not sure on other countries). I ported 2 numbers and it was a bit of a pain (the old provider not letting go easily).

Hello, can I us this without subscription? So only on my local network. So let's say I have 1 Talk in my office, other Talk in the production room, other Talk in the shop etc.. so I can call them individually without subscription only on local network. please let me know

Hi sorry for the late response I don't get on KZbin much lately. I don't use the voip phone anymore but when I set it up it assigned me a temporary phone number and a free trial period. Then it was $10 a month after that. Not sure what it is now.

The other Port that you see allows you to connect another device, such as laptop, docking station or even a PC. Similar to Cisco Phones.

Purchased a touch which I just returned. Phone would not receive calls. Worked with tech support for two weeks. There final solution was for me to call my local ISP provider and request a public static IP. That made no sense to me. Using Unifi router, switch and Cloud key gen2. Phone made outbound calls no problem. Really liked the phone with protect integration. Wish I could have gotten it working. Anyone have any suggestions?
