I've been waiting for a WAR3 style Space Marines tactical like this but turns out I was 17 years too late. I want them to make a real time digital version of their table top game with the same rules. Covid days are the time for that I think that the market should just make one and distribute it. Chances are there is already ones created by dedicated fans.

I don't understand how the Mechanicus were able to spam Imperial Knights, when the Orks were the first ones to clear out a base and get all the extra resource nodes.

Fun battle, although normally AdMech can only build 1 Knight. This is the unlimited addon.

@@breadgod2895 Both have pros and cons. Unification has more races, but sticks more to the standard tech system (1 land raider, 2 predators, 20 squad and support cap etc). Apocalypse adds additional races, but goes for more depth rather than breadth. With apocalypse (or crucible as I personally prefer as it is actually balanced), they take the default factions, double the units (more infantry and vehicles at every tier), then expand the endgame to include titans, nukes, very long range artillery etc. If you want huge scale battles then apocalypse is for you. Unification is basically a compatibility patch between every race mod under the sun, it just adds a ton of races but stays at the same scale as the base game. Apocalypse adds more content, depth and variety to the existing races (and adds tyranids, inquisition and chaos daemons) and allows for larger scale battles. Personally I like the crucible mod (the more competitively balanced version of apocalypse) as it has enough restrictions that you can customise the game into whatever you want and I have the option to bring out the cool stuff.
