Bangalore 11-06-2022 Sir, clarify my doubts:- Planet Earth has three motions - a) Rotating on its own axis - 24 hours per one revolution - No doubt. Newton's First Law operates. b) Elliptical motion around Sun - one year (not fully circular). Reason given by you seems to be correct. Yet , I have some doubt. ! c) Tilting motion - 23.5 degrees on each side - This causes full day and full night at or near poles. Can you explain to me which force is causing tilting? I am a curious reader. Will you clarify? That is item (c)? - Nagaraj T V Bangalore
@shanilkurian99838 ай бұрын
The tilt is caused at the beginning when the earth first started rotating... If an object roates on an axis at a certain degree angle at space it tends to stay in that angle for as long as it keeps spinning or when another force is apllied to it

@@ManochaAcademy Sir 🙏🙏 please 🙏🙏 answer this question:- Sir you said that motion of earth around sun is a uniform circular motion. But According to Kepler's Law :- (i) Earth moves around the sun in elliptical path. So,this is definitely not a circular motion. (ii)Planets move faster when they are close to the sun and slower when they are far from the sun. So, this means that planet's motion around sun is also not a uniform motion. Now,since motion of planets around sun is neither uniform nor circular then how can we say that is uniform circular motion ? Sir 🙏🙏 please 🙏🙏 answer this question. 🥺🥺

@pramiladevi16673 жыл бұрын
Hi beluga big fan
@earnwithease90412 жыл бұрын
Velocity and acceleration don't always have the same direction, in some cases like when the velocity of a body is decreasing then the directions of velocity and acceleration are opposite. But whenever a force causes acceleration then this acceleration will always be in the same direction as that of the Force.
@singh27029 ай бұрын
Because they are perpendicular. The direction of velocity is being changed at a rate of the square of the position.

Lets say we have a ring shaped cavity where one half of the cavity has half the cross sectional area of the other half and fluid is rapidly rotating in this cavity. The velocity of the constricted half would be twice the none constricted half but also have half the mass. Seems the fluid would experience twice the force away from the center on the constricted side. If this is so could it be used for propulsion? It also seems that the forces for speeding the fluid up and slowing it down should balance. Believe you would need two of these structures with counter rotating fluid to get a unidirectional force. May not be understanding something as I never took a physics class, but I do watch educational videos like yours on physics and science in general.

I do have some doubts sir, Isn't velocity displacement by time? And the displacement of an object which moves in a circular path is Always zero,hence the velocity is zero.. But how did we get 2 pi r/t?
@prabhathsingh4682 жыл бұрын
The distance and the displacement is the same when a body is continously moving in a circular motion, why would the displacement be equal to 0 in a constant circular motion if the object is still in motion and not stopped at its starting point, so since it's continously moving the displacement becomes the distance and hence we get the expression.. perimeter/time .. 2pi(r)/t
