His premature departure from this world to join his Creator is leaving an extremely and unbearable sadness and a void I believe no contemporary human spiritual or moral individual can and will be able to fill in. I, I believe, with the so many who looked forward to his lectures must feel a terrible loss not knowing who could qualify and take over. I believe no human is born to take the reigns and continue this amazing journey #LordJonathanSacks has enlightened us throughout the years with his presence, his personality, his voice, his moral approach to morality. He will be sorely missed but I should, on the other hand feel myself blessed that he has shared his knowledge and passion with me believing in what he believed and living by it. I know he is a blessing to his beloved family and to the world at large. May his soul Rest In Peace in the company of angels and mostly his Creator. He was what the world is missing: A LIGHT TO THE NATIONS.

Why do you think his departure was premature?

One of the most brilliant lectures I have ever heard. Thank You Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks for restoring the fundamental importance of religion in a lost Western world.

I cried last night after reading Rabbi Sacks had died. I didn’t know. I found him at the start of the pandemic and have purchased his books, listened to his teaching for a year now constantly. It hurt me that he’s gone. I thank God for Rabbi Sack.

I was so hoping he wouldn't mention milton friedman of evil memory. how can he give friedman the positive treatment: "respect for the individual" !!? I usually respect rav sachs, but this is warped.

To be a Jew is to belong to certain ethnicity with a certain history. Marx could easily be a Israeli citizen unlike me. Im talking about ethnic radical jews here, not religion.

No such construct as you are attempting to peddle here in cyberspace. The Jews are a people, a multi-ethnic people. They are not a race, even less a "certain ethnicity " [sic]. Look around. You do seem to be confused about what's what. Would you like to borrow my copy of Maimonides' 'Guide for the Perplexed'? Why even you, Mr Carp Diem, could become an "Israeli citizen". All you have to do is to convert to being a Jew! You'll gain your Israeli passport in a jiffy!

Wisdom, compassion, and sense of responsibility speaks here. Blessed is He Who created this universe and gave His creation the Way, Truth, and the teachings for a unified world in compassion, understanding, and brotherhood for His glory and honor. Our Creator is sending a very important message to the world. Listen and be more understanding of His power. He, blessed is He, is trying to show us that we must come to a realization that mutual respect for ALL life and creatures is the way for peace to the world.

Hello: interesting lecture ---- but yet it's time less any student of history would say those words apply to most periods in human history I have just read an interesting book ( Against our better judgement) by (Alison Weir) There is a movement that clams to speak for a people As an American of European decent who's ancestor fled Europe seeking religious, cultural, political freedom , with a degree of economic prospetty. America gave that to them. What it demanded in return was loyalty. Meaning only to act in The interest of it's adopted country. After reading this book if it is correct. There is a group of Ameticans who through there intrigue got my country to inter ww1 , even thought there president only months earlier was elected promising to keep us out of that wsr. That war cost the lives of 200,000 American citizens. If this book is accurate those dead solders demand justice Read the book and If You find fault of agree it. then in the name of those fallen heroes ------ well

12:10 To say Moses respected private property is true to a point, but he also destroyed the Golden Calf when he saw it, and that was not his property. In Exodus 32:20 he reduces the calf to powder, then casts in on the water and forces people to drink it. That's not respecting their choices.

Most Jews in Israel are atheist and not religious so I bet that old Marx could claim the right of return. As any other ethnic Jew “As to ethnicity, millions of non-Jews could lay claim to Jewish DNA” How? It’s not my favourite subject but it’s quite easy to check people’s ethnicity or race with today’s genetic science. For example genetic test shows that fins are 90% European (Suomi DNA-projekti) A historical isolated group as the Jews would be no problem to pinpoint.

Jews have never defined a Jew as having Jewish ancestry. So DNA isn't relevant to this identifying Jews. Think about a few examples: King David Herod the great All those with Jewish fathers and non Jewish mothers

Well I salute his honesty, Europe has truly lost its soul the foundation upon which their wealth was created . Wealth and luxury has made them loose common sense and their beliefs in extraordinary libertarian principle has eroded their root. Whilst Islam has mounted a stronger faith development and spiralling away the youth of Europe sucking them into a world of psychological attention with the innate belief in Islam. When a society looses its roots it decays and rots away. Thank God very soon All of Europe will become islamised. Let’s hope Africa carries the faith of Christianity and becomes the real beacon of hope for another millennia
