But he is no wiser or honest then you or I. Even in this video he is trying to convince himself he is a "global citizen" when in fact he was a Vietnamese Buddhist monk to his core. He missed his home all his time in exile. It came through every time he discussed Vietnam.....and that's how it should be. He was also blinded by celebrity politicians. He doted on Mandela somehow overlooking the fact that Mabdela wasn't just an unrepentant terrorist and murderer bit someone who assisted his wife escape justice for having little boys burned alive. Also the government he ushered in is no less racist than the one it replaced and far more corrupt. He is a gentle soul but terribly misguided. Which is amusing for someone who presents themselves as a guide

A great candle has burned out, but his light and warmth will continue concentrically and infinitely radiating. Thank you for being, Thay. Though our hearts are breaking at our loss, we are grateful to have had such a wonderful teacher. “There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way, and not starting.” ~Buddha “Radiate boundless love towards the entire world.” ~Buddha In going all the way, he showed us as he went with a love that knew no bounds. I am sure he will rest as he lived, in peace, an inspiration to us all.

Yes James. I’m not into asmr (although I have experienced the sensation throughout my life and always wondered what it was.) YT sends me these kind of videos based on my other views. I didn’t even notice the coughing until I read these funny comments. I like to think those in charge of this channel have found a clever way to expose more people to the way of self discovery and true peace. Intentional or not, I think it’s great. 🙏
