When I was a kid, my sister and I would close our mouths and hum until our teeth started to vibrate, then it was like I could feel the sound waves in behind my eyes. It was so comforting and relaxing. I haven’t done that in a very long time. This reminds me of that.

Im curious, but say you're walking down a street and a car drives by with good bass, how loud is the cars bass compared what you feel in that room? Would you have to shout to hear anything?

I don't know how to compare it to car bass. The gong definitely has a lot of volume potential. When brought to a full roar, you wouldn't be able to hear someone speaking in the room, but just tapping it gently to activate the fundamental tone, building up the sound, etc. you can still hear someone talking at a regular volume.

Would these flummies be as affective on a Paiste brilliant 34” please?

not quite as effective - due to it being and smaller and thinner gong - but still plenty of cool sounds to be made. The issue will be streaking, flumies often mark up the delicate face of a brilliant symphonic - the B Love's should be good at not marking your paiste, the others not as much
