150 poison resist is big. Poison resist was a great option for PA anyway due to it realistically being one of the few things that can kill you. Now you'll have the option to get cryo and flame resist pieces and still have room for powered pieces. I think it's a shame that this sort of power creep happens without tweaking the older sets. Personally, I think ALL PA suits should have some sort of unique benefit for a full suit.

Union Power Armor Plans now cost 800 Stamps per piece, which is absolutely ridiculous. The Jetpack costs 1,000 Stamps. You get like 10 Stamps per Expedition at most. 1/4 of that price (200 per piece) would be a lot more reasonable. Good luck to anyone trying to grind for the full set now.

"HUD," stands for "heads up display". The U.S. military and probably others, use this tech in the cockpit of fighter jets. It makes targeting the enemy very easy by highlighting them. I'm...pleasantly surprised by the changes to the Union PA. The Poison resistance means players can use it and not worry about having to equip Funky Duds, and they've made it so it's not a massively Overpowered PA, rendering the other PAs irrelevant. Diversity in what different Power Armor types can do is great. Means you have variety and choice, and it's not all strictly a case of 'Does this one give you the most DR for your buck?' equation.

The Excavator power armor is good enough for almost any PvE situation. I've been trying to get good legendary rolls on a set of HC power armor. No luck so far. I'm tempted to focus on the new Union set when it comes out.

Yea I've been in Excavator since I got it thanks to that carry weight. It's tanky enough for most encounters definitely I'm usually the one guy that was always picking everyone else up, though they were a lot of bloody builds I played with.

Excavator has weak radiation resistance and that's the only thing I don't like about it. Otherwise my overeaters excavator set is enough for all content.

I dusted off my original character I abandoned a few levels in and turned it into a strictly PA build. The ONLY reason I went down this road is the video Mr. Turtle did on how to recharge power cores. The strongest set I have found is specific to the enemy. Doesn't matter what it is. Raider/T45. As long as it has the one star for the enemy in a full set, I find I am invincible. The double XP this week has been super handy ranking up that character.

I agree with you 100%. -75% damage (5x -15%) and going bloodied build you subtract another 50% with "Emergency Protocol" torso mod. I don't like untradable anything. I keep full sets (matching) of Assassins, Troubleshooter, Overeaters, Mutant Slayers and Zealots. Daily opps are easy with those. Mostly use Overeater's. Poison resistance is given with the "Funky duds" legendary perks card.

@@Berticus65 Get chasis and load them up! I find all I need is a set for Troubleshooters for Encryptid and one set of Mutant Slayers for Eviction Notice and trolling for XP at Wes Tek. The reason two works even for the rare time I do Daily Ops is my Vampire/Bash/stealth Shredder and my perks that make up the difference. I don't do chems. If Nuka Cola gives me a boost, it's by accident. The big reason I don't do them ALL is that we can't name the chassis. I have to unload them ALL to find the one I want by paint color. It's annoying.

Getting a 20% WWR isn't the end of the world, might take a while, but doable. Having all 5 pieces with Overeater's on top of that is going to be the worst grind ever. At least you can put a jetpack on it legitimately... it's going to be a very very long while until I will exit my overeater's excavator :( yet with Union PA I can drop funky duds and get an extra 5 points - maybe get back tenderizer (right now i need my party perk for that +15 to perception and get those sweet plasma caster headshots :) - here's an idea, do you know if Tenderizer was modified in any way, maybe back to the 40% dmg increase while using shotguns ?

Tenderiser was changed back to giving 40% for shotguns again. It happened a while back. Tyr made a video on it. It also gives 40% for laser rifles with the beam splitter mod on them.

Been running Strangler PA because I just like Ultracite PA, but the mods are hard to come by, and the poison damage isn't anything that actually helps. The aura was nice for lazily tagging enemies, but now that's not something you have to worry about anymore, what with the past few updates removing the need to tag enemies so much. Union PA has extra carry weight, better defense than Excavator PA, AND poison resistance, something I don't really have any defense against. The mods are easy to get (a little bit grindy but not as bad as gold it seems) and I just love the way it looks. I guess it's time for me to increase my quality of life and stop running around at almost full carry weight.

I have t65 within a month of 400 gold daily. Yet you get 10 stamps per fully completed run. Its like what, 800 stamps for just an armour piece plan? Now, that's 80 DAYS for ONE piece. Now x that by 6. Yep, 480 DAYS just for the armour and the mods are still expensive as hell if you got the plan for the set free. Needs to change, nobody is sad enough to grind that many stamps, we have lives. Gold is so much better. Expeditions are also boring.

They really need different PA Arm mods I rarely equip them since none seem useful.... Now if there was say an Enhanced Relays mod or something similar that decreased fusion core drain while sprinting or using VATS that would be useful to me as that is my big complaint with VATs in PA (a Pipboy can keep your VATs up far longer than any PA suit with a Fusion core?)

Honestly my T-65 works just fine. And I don't even bother with funkyduds. Mostly because you really don't have to deal with poison much in this game. Outside of a random Special Ops mission or Mirelurk Queens which you don't really have to many encounters of. I'll probably go for it anyway. But that ugly paint job has to go.

I hate idea of untreadable items. One of the funniest part of the game is treading. It could be the best PA if it was tredable. For me useing PA without WWR is almost imposible. It will be realy hard to get set and if i want to get good pieces with Oe it will be even harder to get.

I won’t bother to grind this on my 3 other characters as they run funky duds and have full decent sets of overeaters etc already and have less stuff hoarded on those characters. Also season 10 score board has some nice paints datamined for the union power armour.

Yeah, I had to integrate bit of power armor Kazemi if you get almost the same Carey Wade Avenue excavator with the boys and resistant so doesn’t want that.

The problem with untradable items is that they are untradable between diferent characters on the same account. So i have two characters who use power armour and two who don't. I'm suposed to grind for months for the ones who use it but throw away the plans for the ones who don't? Not looking forward to that.

its bullshit that each thing costs 85 stamps. with a total of 8 stamps per expedition ( an that's if the leader wants to do the "optional" as i've had about a 30-40% of the rando ones i join dont an only get 1-2 stamps per run) if they don't change it to be reasonable i might only do enough for mods, perhaps lower the 85, get more stamps per run, reward some stamps for doing an event that got overrun by wandering fanatics (like how aliens invaded regular events).

Trust me, I’ve been recently experimenting with bar, workshops, parents and pepper, shaker, and strangler heart and I’m writing each and everyone of them would’ve liked to have some poison resistance because worth of Barbara shaker with a single barrel. Henning 16 pallets at once stacking up 16 poisons at once was the minimal damage that it’s doing cause I’m not fact poured I’m just using the poison. Yeah that’s devastating Broski so do you know if you’re a TV player that’s another reason to be wearing a union power armor with the built-in poison resist car so I’ll probably just switch to a rocket launcher. I am still do damage cab with a rocket on you apparently burn rocket launcher bypasses you know resistance is MMM a damn introductions eight I’m not sure. I understand that. I’m just seems like I do damage can put that thing on everybody or a shredder do you know if you’re not in by? I haven’t tried it on power armor but if you’re not in power armor, the shredder is doing damage cap MVP on everybody I mean not everybody but I mean I like to say I’m driving down and power in our character but I was demonstrating is the sound guy the other day who asked me about it and God yeah, each attack 20 times a second just doing 110 damage, I think if you look at it on cars it goes like 190 for a tack 180 919 a present lockbox I have on I don’t generally barf anymore on that thing I don’t even bother eating half the time that I’m going to a queen email Albans follow up but the rest the time I don’t even bother eating food or drinking water because if I am necessary, the weapon is so devastating it’s gotten from this game is ridiculously simple VR so many things that just are so unbalanced it’s not funny and I’m not saying the shredder is on the ground for shredder has some really serious downsides are you have to be in power armor do use it otherwise Daps yeah you know if you’re going to use a VIP in about seven seconds are out of power armor and in order to get armor ignore unless you have an anti-armor treader but if you’re using a vampire shredder to get armor guard, he got to be a power armor so there’s a downside everything should have a downside but many things don’t.

after hours of grind, my helmet and torso plans just disappeared when i clicked on them to activate, i looked everywhere. gone and cant even get another one from the trader. all i have is legs and arms not sure what to do next. this game has lots of very unique bugs that never get a fix. only the fun bugs get fix quickly. simply trolling i think.

HUD is pronounced Bud, like flowerbud. It's an acronym for Heads Up Display.
