UNIQLO Pleated Wide Pants | Men's vs Women's

In today's video, join me as I take a trip to UNIQLO to pick up the infamous Pleated Wide Pants (Pleated Wide Leg Trousers) in both men's and women's.

I am always checking out men's and women's section for that reason. Cool that you pointed those differences out! I get the differences in shape / cut but not quality wise... sometimes I am really bordered that quality of clothing differs between both genders. Another great video mate, feels like you get so much into a sub-5min video! I picked up a pair of the men’s pants literally yesterday but sounds like I may need to try the women’s out too. I’m new to more wide-fitting trousers so perhaps the tapered fit on the men’s will work as a segway.

@@JB_ProulxHehehe, tho a regular button and belt loops makes the best secure fit as you can use a belt. I live in Norway and sadly Uniqlo doesn’t ship here neither from the US site or anyone else. And of course they have it in any other Scandinavian country except from Norway due to not being a member of EU🙄 Had to order from the Swedish site and send them to my sis in law. Thanks to your videos this made the decision easier in ordering the men’s pair, tho I like the flowiness of the women’s. I often shop outerwear like coats from the women’s section as I’m not very tall, so they fit better in the arms, as long as the overall fit is oversized. I love the look of wide pants, but due to not being tall yet fat, I have to go up in sizes which means it’s always gonna end up super long on me. Therefor they don’t work with every type of shoe as I then have to wear really huge and chunky footwear to have them not touch the ground. I envy tall people🫠

Which one has more stretch to them in terms of the waist? I read the men's has a slightly lower spandex percentage but they also have the elastic waistband. And how is breathability in both? I'm slightly worried about the high polyester percentage making it not breathable. But I don't have anything to really compare it to. Thanks for the great vid!

Men’s definitely have more stretch with the elasticated waistband. They’re both loose fitting so breathability is good cuz you get dat air flow, women’s especially since they’re lighter

I’m gonna try wide fit soon. But I don’t know how the length is supposed to be on wide-fit pants. I usually wear high crop or no break. Also not sure if the inseam length will be the same as the women’s is high-waisted. Great video!

You can wear wide pants with no break or full break, depends on your preference. You want it to sit nicely on the shoe. Depending on how talk you are the women’s pair has a "long”option as-well

I have fitted both pants but for me the crotch area in women's version is not comfortable and it bulges out when you sit. This is why I chose the men's version.
