Not positive, but I am pretty sure I have been there. I lived in Taiwan in 1972. Back then, that paved road was just a dirt track, and it was at the end of what was Taiwan's only international airport at the time. As kids going to Taipei American School, we would sometimes go there, drink PeJo(sp) beer, and watch the 747's take off and land. Looks quite familiar in layout, although it is far more secure and built up than when I was there.

That’s pretty cool! I can kind of picture what that would be like. It would be a pretty nice hangout spot

I heard that they had those birds at the Raohe night market but I didn’t know if I’d be able to find them/understand their predictions

With the bird fortune telling, the first card is about expanding your knowledge (知識), not poses (姿勢). 😅 it’s the Taiwanese accent.

Ah hahahaha thanks! Yeah sometimes I found it difficult to understand everything correctly.

@@TravelLordOnLoc Loving your videos. As a Taiwanese, I didn’t even know bird fortune telling is a thing. Well looks like the bird’s right, you’ve got yourself a new subscriber. 😄

Hello. Do you have a plan to visit other Turkic countries besides Turkey? Maybe Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc. Btw I really recommend Japan. Probably my favorite in Far Eastern Asia.

I have been really interested in doing a trip through Mongolia and the Stans. So yes! I hope I can. I also definitely want to go to Japan

08:30 the airport is using non lethal pyrotechnics rounds from a shotgun to disperse birds from the active runway and surrounding area.
