For me the first generation of Adipure was amazing. Some of it has to do with looks but I really liked how elegant it felt and it felt a lot lighter than predetors on foot.

I just picked a new pair of adipure Is a month ago. They’re so good and comfortable, touch is fantastic. Only using them on grass because gotta keep them alive cuse well… they’re from 2007 😅

The hypervenom 1s are just incredible i have them from 2014/15 (the white with blue sole ones) i have a few more boots, (hypervenom 2 superfly, messi 16.1, for example) and i still prefer using the old venoms, they are really comfortable and the feeling with the ball is amazing, also they are in really good shape so they truly hold

My hypervenom 1s finally filly separated, honestly cried a little. Scored soo many bangers in those boots. Hypervenom 1, facelift 2 and 3 plus the Puma v1.10 sl and v1.11 sl are arguably my goat boots

The tiempo legend V is hands down one of my favorite boots of all time. Really soft and comfort. Other honorable mentions include the the early adipure models from 1-4,the 11pro 2 and 3,evopower line and mizuno wave ignitus

I have a pretty much in mint condition Vapor 9 in my collection. And it’s my most prized pair. They are an Italian made pair, some of the production was made in China or Bosnia & Herzegovina. It is a stunning boot, Vapor 8 and Vapor 9 had that almost ethereal allure to them. The sleek elegant shape of the boot, the suppleness of the Teijin synthetic, the glistening of the glassfiber sole, and that unique stud pattern. They were visually compelling. I had Vapor 7, that was my first top end boot. They were great. Once I scrapped together the money and bought the Vapor 8 they blew me away. Had the Euro 2012 Clash colorway, what an absolutely gorgeous boot. Having a boot like that really boost your confidence. I have many fond memories wearing the Vapor 8 and 9 as a teenager, but all the Vapors since then have been very good to me. I can’t complain.

Last week I bought a pair of puma evospeed 1.3 which were never worn. I wore them in training and I can definitely say that 2014 was the best in terms of football boots. Brands should make boots like this again. adidas with the new X + seems to be trying to go back that way

All I got to say is that I finally got my dream boot that I wanted during my school years. The adidas predator instinct from 2014 is my favorite boots. Once I wore them for the first time, I felt like prime Ozil with them. Also I not just have 1 colorway but 2 which makes me more happier.

New Boots are cool and all but the reality of it all....nothing is going to beat a pair of Copa Mundials, Mizuno Morelias or Diadora Brazils. These boots have stayed in the game for a reason. Jay Mike that's classic clip with the hair, Priceless.

Watching this video makes me nostalgic about the Nike Mercurial Vapor X, I had the Veloce 2 in the CR7 gala colorway, the low-cut takedown of the high cut one. They were amazing boots...light as air. I used them for my rugby trainings and were fantastic, you culd run so fast with those boots on (plus the stud confuguration was very good for all kind of movements and provided a lot of traction). I even used them for few football matches with friends and had a very barefoot like sensations but still providing great lockdown. I also loved three boots from Adidas, especially the Ace 15.4 (I had the soft ground configuration and lasted for 2 years of scrums, mud and hard work before showing some tears), the nitrocharge 2.0 trx and the copa 17.2... great solid boots

Being a massive Predator fan I could be fairly bias.... however I would say that the Predator Mania (trx fg specifically) still holds up today. Maybe heavier than any mentioned, but comfort was there, the feel was great, and the look was just generational. Remakes being lighter helped, but they just aren't quite the same as the OG models.

The ADIDAS 11 PRO II SL - 2014 K Leather is my favourite boot on this list, with the NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND V - 2014 closely 2nd place with the K Leather Toebox An Synthetic midfoot with the Swoosh being stitched giving lockdown stability an agility along with the soleplate system. Give me the Totti Tiempo Legend V an they would just nick it - 2014 for football boot's was a class..

My daughter 9 is the best in her age in my city and makes me buy old 2007 powerswerve's. Without the gimmicky insole. She can clearly hit the ball harder than other modern boots. Other boots we try are 'average' or 'fine'. She say's they are good for running but just not the same.

In the last 12 months I broke a pair of 2014 f50s (pink/blue UCL colorway) and Magista 1s (light blue). Both were very good boots. I still have the legend 5s in SG and a pair of hypervenom 1s (holding on for dear life durability wise).
