Can I just say, good boots last a really long time if you take care of them! I used to burn through cheap boots until I bought a really decent pair of Adidas boots. Took care of them and they've lasted years (not a professional).

My top of the line adizero boots just gave out on me after 6+ years (4 years of constant use if you take out injuries, ave. 3 times a week)! They were the literal best. Time to dish out for a new adidas speedframe.1 and hope they're up to par. These things can last a while 👌

I absolutely hate, with a passion, to see someone walking on concrete with their boots on. I even stop what I’m doing and stare at the guy. 😡 And about the screw in studs, please, for the love of god, don’t overtighten your studs, or else you’ll strip that screw point and the boot will be ruined forever. You’ll have to replace it. Just follow the instructions on the box, and if you don’t have it, just tighten as tight as you can with your hand, and give it another half a turn with the wrench.

Haha, happily walked everywhere, tar/concrete with my top of the line adizero speedframes from 6+ years ago. And the upper only gave up on me now after 4 years of constant use (i was injured for 2 of the 6). The stud tread is still in great condition. It's quite a freeing feeling once you work out it's all going to be okay 😂

It is about the quality mate. Like the academy one is like the first copy of the pro one, but if you are new I strongly suggest you to go with the academy one. Good luck and have fun with them.
