Good insightful video. Both of these long handle blades instruments look like a possible potential for an effective impliment in using to put a Deer or Wild Boar out of it's misery in the situation of a collision with a Motor Vehicle.

This looks like a great home defense weapon/bugout weapon. It can be used primarily as a spear, since it is two handed blade, you wouldn't be able to grab it like you could a spear pole. Besides being able to keep distance from the bad guy, you can stab and slash at them with a lot more control. This would be considerably harder to disarm from an attacker. As long as there is no gun involved or you get the element of surprise, you stand a pretty good chance with this thing. I'd probably attach a couple tight wrist strings so it would be near impossible to be ripped out of or fall out of your hands.
@WeAllJuggleKnives
@WeAllJuggleKnives 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this would be great for defending narrow chokepoints, like someone trying to come through a doorway, window, or up a stairway.

@@WeAllJuggleKnives thank you so much, . since your channel is a knife and tactical channel. Future Video suggestion, How about a video comparing the draw speed of various Folders and Fixed Blades, neck knives in an Emergency defensive situation. example. while your moving backward or running away from an attacker, , try to draw your folder or fixed blade, but be careful. I sometimes fumble with my folder when I try to draw fast.
@bryantherocker
@bryantherocker 5 жыл бұрын
@@WeAllJuggleKnives I borrowed one a long time ago, the Crucible FX2 is handle heavy, so I always thought the handle is not skeletonized. That knife is fast with the draw, because of the beak like curve on the end of the handle, which let you snag the knife quickly with the hands

*Some facts about Thaiachira* A spin-off of Muay Chaiya, which originated from a student sports group at Ramkhamhaeng University and therefore has nothing to do with old fighting styles, but pretends to make themselves important. The chairman of Thaiachira (Kru Lamp) has no qualification as a teacher (Krob Kru). He has also never fought in a boxing ring. His sword knowledge is based solely on student sports and stage fencing (Krabi Krabong), which is taught at the university. The rest comes from Muay Chaiya, which can also not be called an old or a real Thai martial art. The Muay from the city of Chaiya mainly refers to a certain Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Ket Sriyapai was the son of a governor who was active in sports promotion and brought Muay Veti fighters (Muay Thai) from Chaiya to Bangkok to promote them there. Ajarn Khet never learned Muay Thai himself. The only reason why he is called "Ajarn" is that he has written and published some (fictional) stories about Muay Thai fighters. Ajarn Ket came from a high-ranking family and therefore never fought in a boxing ring. That would have been inappropriate for his standing. His actual profession was civil servant in the building industry. Later Muay Chaiya generations (for example Ket's school friend Tonglor Yalee) mixed normal Muay Thai techniques with Silat (Indonesia), Wushu (China) and Jiu Jitsu (Japan). For these reasons Muay Chaiya, and everything that comes from this direction, can neither be called an old nor a real Thai martial art. Kru Lamp was not the only founder of Thaiachira, his colleagues like Kru Pong, Kru Boi, Kru Oha which originally trained under Kru Preang and all fought in the NAKSU MMA series and many others have been a part of it too, but they separated and started other organizations their own, the last Krus I mentioned have just in my opinion a lot of knowledge and it's very exciting and interesting to train with them, Kru Thonglor added Arwuth to his training because in the WW2 time he was not always able to get in touch with the masters his Ajarn had send him to, so he for example studied with Ajarn Messarman from Buddhai Sawan School, if Chaiya is not a real born Muay style what do you call a real one then, Muay Korat, Muay Lop Buri, there are a couple Ajarn which tried or try to preserve the Art, but no one was ore is a Master of a certain style they actually brought every thing together what they could find, I know just one remaining who tries to save as many techniques as possible and this is Kru Egker after Ajarn Amnat passed away a couple of years ago and he was a General and the Pram Ajarn of the royal Thai Army , please let me know more of your opinions, because I want to know more about that theory and if the Krus and Ajarns I know and have traind under have lied to me the last +20 years 🙏🏼
