United UA| 737-924ER|Weird Noise!!!|Takeoff|Landing|Cabin|DENVER-NEW YORK CITY|DEN-EWR|Turbulence

United 737-924ER refurbished cabin, first class with dinner and some light but persistent Turbulence. Very strange noise at take off/wheels up. Disappointing first class service. I do not fly first class often but expected more on this flight vs the last first class trip on a shorter United flight. See SYR-ORD UNITED FLIGHT on my channel from March 2024.

I'm pretty sure that was just the nose wheel, when it lifts off the ground it's obviously spinning pretty fast and it makes that noise

Takeoffs out of Denver tend to be very long due to thin air, with extremely high rotation ground speeds.

Not a fan of redeyes. Although that’s really the only way to cross the pond. I can’t sleep on planes.

Sometimes I can. Sometimes I can’t. First class doesn’t seem to help-domestic first anyway. The whole sleepy time thing seems weird to me. Snoring and drooling away…for everyone to see! LOL

@@iPlaneFun looked like unimpressive crew on this one also. I do like the hard product with the newly installed entertainment though. United is consistently inconsistent: numerous different hiring eras including people hired before the Continental-United merger. The more recent crews are certainly inconsistent; redeyes seem to get junior crews a lot, looks like it here.

@ecoRfan I’ve noticed that - consistently inconsistent. Thanks for that tidbit- I love it. You are spot on with the crew. I was very disappointed having paid $300 for the last minute upgrade to first.

@@iPlaneFun post Covid United has gone on a hiring spree, but that doesn’t mean that all these newer attendants are that good. Even before Covid, the newer crews were inconsistent. To me, the crew makes or breaks the experience.
