*We did improve the design since this video. The sleeve on the base got moved inside the U-shaped based and lowered. It now sits flush with the top and inside. This allows the base to double as a dolly for moving cabinets into place. THANKS FOR WATCHING!!

Thanks for the preview at the very start of your video of how the lift is used. It helps to set the scene.

That is a great idea. Now if you widened the bottom and had the moveable part go lower, that would make a great wheel lift for those big, heave wheels on rat Rods and so forth. Thanks for sharing.👍👍

Great build! Quick and easy. There is plenty of uses. As putting steel stocks on shelves too. As suggested below, to support wheels. Thanks!

Nice. Thank you for making this. It gives me some ideas for how I can make one to move 4x8 plate metals and plywood off my truck and around the shop. I’ll do some modifications for increasing its durability before putting heavier plate on it though. 🙂

I have an old harbor freight 12v winch with remote, and a lawnmower battery that would make a nice upgrade I think.

perfect , should come out the very slim & tall size with variety moulding size adjustable . for install at scissor lift , above ceiling work which most of time obstruct by other thing , the space only left less than 500mm , need this to carry load and safely extend to above .

Excellent build. Thankyou. would you please tell me what the tubing was that you used. It looks like 3x3 inch for the post and about 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 for the forks.could you tell me what gauge the tubing was, Is it 1/8in. or heavier? I am going to build a unit and might as well learn from your build. Thankyou God bless.

How do you keep it from binding on the way down? By placing weight you a shift senter of gravity and telescopic sleeve simply locks up on the way down. Seems like you would need some type a roller bearings to keep platform from locking up

Hello how are you, greetings from Argentina. I wanted to ask you, I want to make a 3-section telescopic lifting tower that reaches 3 meters, I want to use it to lift small sound equipment (Baffles), and that supports at least 70 kilos. I have the manual winch, the pipes, pulleys, and the idea of how to do it, but it is difficult for me how to make the internal seam in the pipes with the steel cable, so that each body of the tower rises. Could you help me?. Thanks, be well. (Pablo)
