Watching him and Mainoo track back is like watching people run in quick sand…. Hojlund as well really lacks striker instincts as he spends so much time battling the defenders he forgets the basics of making runs and freeing himself Even Wolves’ striker when asked after the match he said as a striker it’s not about being next to the defenders all the time…. The lack of physicality and athletes in this team is so apparent I’m struggling to see how Amorim can steady the ship. Ruud was able to find a winning team by playing Casemiro and Ugarte together in midfield which helped us win the ball and battle better. Amorim needs to do the same at this point. Kobie, Bruno, Erickson just don’t have what’s needed to help this team in the double pivot. We also need to start playing Martinez in midfield for that same reason. We need more battlers in there, plus on the ball he’s one of the best we have. We have enough coverage in defence
