this is hilarious. you know that breather tube on the bottom that doesn't attach to anything? I thought it did and I've been looking for a connection that doesn't exist like a mad man. what a relief.

Paul, I just wanted to say thank you for the DIY air intake video. I purchased a CTS Turbo intake for my '13 VW cc and watching the video helped through the install. Total time for me was just under an hour for a newbie. Keep them coming. I already have the APR stage 1 tune and I'm planning on a down pipe next.

Finally, my question of whether it’s ok to have oil at the pipe that connects to the turbo is normal. Thanks. I may need to change the pcv valve soon. Great videos. Thanks for not speeding through it like it’s a cartoon and taking the time to explain the process.

+Deutsche Auto Parts Would this work on a Tiguan ? I really wanted this intake on my Tiguan but I don't see that they sell one for the Tiguan. My Tiguan engine looks exactly like that with the same layout . This would really suck if this one would not fit. I really wanted a loud intake system ... If this one does not fit would you recommend one that is loud like a cts intake or neuspeed pflo system ? Any suggestions ? I'm looking for loud as possible cold air intake 😎

you can and you will get more horsepower gains from it but don’t expect anything crazy. but, it is not necessary

The unitronic pipe where I put in the t30 torx does not fit ? Like as I drive it’s gets loose and I have to re screw it again ? Can you help me solve that

Douglas Urrutia Sergio X Cruz if you leave the secondary air pump hose unplugged over time it will suck up dirt an debris likely resulting in the failure of said part. You will then need to replace the pump as your vehicle will no longer pass inspection with a bad pump. This can be a very costly repair and you should always add a filter to the secondary air hose.

Your turbo would be at the back of the engine. The engine in your vehicle is almost identical to the one in this video, so everything should be very similar.

It is better to use the original squeeze clamps ? Or doesn’t really matter. Cause those clamps seem alot easier to use? Just askn. I mean I would use the new one espc cause they’re easier. But are the squeeze clamped stronger?
