I can concur with this. Especially if anyone has ever had any neck issues (damage, injury), this setup and the 2.25" centerline view through the optic is excellent. Once you get used to adjusting your cheek weld, which will then basically become a chin weld, you will love this thing. It just takes a little getting used to. I use this with the unity magnifier mount and couldn't be happier. My neck thanks me and after training for any significant amount of time, my neck does not feel anywhere near as fatigued as normal. Special ops units have known this for the last few decades and this is just now (last few years) becoming more understood and more widely used for CQB and mid range firearms for other people.

My Extar EP9 has the recoil spring over the bolt. So the 1913 rail is high. I put a 1 inch riser and 3 people said it was high. I took it off. It's OK now and before. Your point is good and maybe I need to retest it again. I have a new 1-6 LPVO sight coming with a 1 inch tall counter leaver mount.

Ive been looking to buy this for a while. A few guys who were in DEVGRU were talking about this mount and said its the only one they use (for various reasons). I figured if its good enough for them, its good enough for me LOL.

I just started running the "unity" on my mk18 accompanied by a holosun ls221G for work; the new set up knocked off crucial time. I would give an optic laser a try also. Good luck Luke!!

What is the main purpose of those super high end laser sights like the d bal/peq-15? Thought they were mainly only used for night vision? They sure look cool but man they are up there in price.

@@dionysis84 I had mine bc I was young, had disposable income and I wanted one lol having one without NODs was just dumb. I really had no real world application for it bc I didn’t have NVGs

@@wheelchairluke9463 yeah I almost did the same man. Live & learn i guess. Holosun does make a model that is moderate in price and usually they have decent quality. That would be the very last thing I'd add on to a build though.
