If you compare the specs to aimpoint and eotech, it's on par or better with a better mounting solution, so 700 makes sense and would be less than competitors.

Same here with FDE, and the addition of a green reticle.

Yeah, FDE is going to be a must. But the reticle is based on the optic you use. The magnifier does not have a reticle itself. I am a big fan of the green reticles, though. most of my optics are green

Lefty's forgotten about per the norm, I'm not a lefty, but I shoot with some. Also, I feel like the base is too fat, could maybe hit your knuckles on it. Could be wrong.

@@Cgonz1982 surprisingly, it’s not too bad for lefty’s. It’s definitely set up to benefit right handed shooters more, but when I was playing with this build, I noticed it was completely usable when shouldered on my left side. The articulating part doesn’t stick out far and it sits low enough to be under the primary-optic line when stowed so it doesn’t really block view. And it kinda felt better flipping it up and down with my right hand. More able to just hook and flip. So yeah, not optimized for lefty’s but completely usable.
