@@LuisM_Piozza They throw out a new pedal every other week and want everybody to believe that it was a hell lot of work to build them. Meanwhile users ask for changes in the hardware but they are just ignoring it. Other companies have much better products for much less money. Just my opinion.

@@Thomasabraser It's just your opinion, but none of your statements are true. Because yes, there will be companies that will bring out cheaper products than UA, but that have better quality (in general, but specifically talking about this line of amp emulation pedals) I give you a resounding NO. That great quality and fidelity to the sound of the amps reproduced to date requires a lot of research, great programmers and physical components of the highest quality. That they have things to improve; of course they do. Just like everyone else.

This pedal seems awesome but being the owner of a Mark VII, I’ll be skipping this one. I do own the Lion and I absolutely love it. I will say I’m disappointed that UA has yet to make any amazing bass amp pedals! I’m waiting on a bad-ass classic Gallien-Krueger pedal!

On the right track, but not for me. Something between the old and new is still missing from the UAFX amp-in-a-box collection I feel. Something like a Bogner or the Friedman Phil X, Jake E. Lee, Jerry Cantrell or Bill Kelliher heads. Punchy, dynamic, but not overly vintage or modern. The Lion stops just a bit short of getting there.
