We went Thanksgiving week this year and we flew in on an early flight got to Royal Pacific, checked in and went straight to the park until close with our free express pass! Then the next day we checked out, had them hold our luggage and went again until close! Came back got our stuff and a Lyft to Art of Animation! I was so sad to leave that beautiful hotel but for 1 night we had a lovely resort and express pass for 2 days! I'm so glad we got to see Universal for the holidays. Keep up the great work!

I went to universal during prime time. Hagrid's was 180 and veloci was 140 most of the day. We had NO EXPRESS, but thanks to singles I was able to do 94 rides in 2 days.

I'm going again in January, i'm going to be real with you, this place was CROWDED. It's all just a game of knowing what is good wait and what is bad. I waited no more than 30 min for every attraction (usually 1-7 min). I'd assume you want to get on hagrids, (i was there last fri/sat) last friday posted was 180 and I was able to get 11 laps in 2 hours. If you want to ride this attraction, be at the park by 7:55 for early access at 8:00, run straight to hagrid's, and hop in singles IMMEDIATELY. If it's closed, jump under the fence and continue anyways. Attendants literally have no idea if singles is open so they just direct you. For the first 10-65 min (depends on your luck, for me it stayed no line for 1.5 hours which is EXTREMELY RARE), you will encounter no wait. The wait time will go from walk-on twice-six times to 2, 4, 7, 12, 15, 17, 23, 27, etc. (usually) If you have any other rides in mind you really want to do, name drop them and i'll give you my advice to getting on. Velocicoaster is hard because singles when I went stayed closed for most of the days, so I only got one lap on that one. It was 80-165 all day.@@kp007__

#1 - Hang in there, people can be jerks. Not sure why. Remember those who LOVE seeing you in the parks. :) #2 - thank you for taking the time to provide information about how we might experience parks, how costs add up and what you feel is of value. Many of us can only come once in a while or it is a one time trip of a life time. When we went to WDW there were 14 of us in total (LOL, don't ask why). So yes, scheduling and the additional $$ add up fast. We had to consider age differences including the young ones who needed naps and the older ones who were ready for a more wild time.

I went to universal last year the Sunday after thanksgiving, and man oh man was that the right time. They hadn’t done too much of their holiday stuff yet, but the grinch was playing. And the crowds were just PERFECT. The longest I waited was for Hagrids for like…75 minutes.

I know this might sound crazy, but I was just there for 5 days during Christmas and it wasn’t nearly as busy as people made it seem. On Christmas Day Hagrid’s was a 50 minute wait. I went for Spring break and it was way busier that week.
