Universal Studios Hollywood has a lot of charm, but it’s kinda sad they have to demolish a lot of their history to build these new rides, specifically the upper lot

This is true. I’m guessing that the next time they try to build something new, they’ll look to maybe replacing some older (but not historic) attractions versus demolishing more buildings that have been there for a super long time. That’s just me though 🤷🏻

Yep! This video sums up how I feel about USH. Sorry you missed out on the tram tour parts. All the times I’ve been never saw the Clock Tower but that’s what makes it unique because the tours different every time. Also wow you saw all Indominus Rex. The last one is always not working. 😂 that last part with Forbidden Journey had me so nervous.

It’s such a fun park and definitely consolidates that “Universal” experience in such a great way. Can’t wait to go back! Also Forbidden Journey was a great time, there’s just something I can’t shake about ours 🤣

As much as I want to do HHN at US Hollywood, I have total FOMO about Orlando for the year I would decide to do that 😂 But this video very much makes me want to go to Cali!

Halloween Horror Nights Is my favorite part of Universal Studios Hollywood. The vibe is so different from Orlando’s HHN. I actually preferred Hollywoods over Orlando’s HHN in 2023 cuz Hollywood had better operations in terms of express working better and the houses were really good too.

​@DreamportProductions Hollywood definitely peaked with 2019's HHN. These last 3 years at HHN haven't felt the same with so many changes but it's still a really fun event for what it is. I do wish we would get the Backlot mazes back along with the Lower Lot scarezone and just simply more aggressiveness from the actors

I don’t know about better, but different for sure. Now granted, I haven’t been since 2017, so I didn’t get to experience Kung Fu Panda, Jurassic World, Off the Leash or Nintendo. Also, Earthquake was down when I did the tour too. When you look at comparable attractions, Orlando wins almost every time… Reign of Kong > 360 3-D Supercharged < Tram Supercharged Minion Mayhem > Hollywood Mummy > Hollywood Simpsons Ride = Hollywood Transformers = Hollywood Forbidden Journey = Hollywood Hippogriff = Hollywood Then you look at exclusives… Orlando Race Through New York Gringotts Hogwarts Express MIB E.T. Adventure Bourne Stuntacular Villian Con Rockit Hollywood Studio Tour Jurassic World The Ride (Overlay of River Adventure) Secret Life of Pets Waterworld (US Only) Mario Kart (Until Epic Opens) Dreamworks Theater I think I covered everything. Aside from the Studio Tour, Waterworld and Pets, we have far more exclusive attractions that are different than what is offered in Hollywood. I also think the unique environment does help Hollywood stand out, but Orlando is much easier to navigate and is overall a better structured park than Hollywood. I really do like both and cannot wait to go back to Hollywood to check out what has changed, but Orlando is to me a better overall park.

That’s totally fair! I personally still love Orlando more but Hollywood has been adding stuff and upgrading and that’s awesome!
