University: Due to the coronavirus outbreak, campus is closed. Students: Yes! Now I can catch up on sleep! University: Instead, we have online courses, so you have no excuse of missing them. Student: Wait, no... University: And you have to type up your homework on the computer. Student, taking high level physics courses: How...?

Thanks for making this video, it is really nice to look at it after the craziness of last semester. Even though I don't get all the math, since I am not a physics major, it is really funny. I also like watching them with my dad.

We use zoom and canvas. Everything is pretty seemless. We also had a week break to do a trial in between the course leaders and TAs to make sure everything is ok.

Epic collab! A suggestion:could you upload a video that is based around richard Feynman atmost every one month? He is an inspiration for so many of us(physics majors) and a big reason as to why a lot of people join our field! This also resolves your video idea problem.

Your videos are so funny and relatable. I spent 4 hours today trying to understand a converging/diverging nozzle lab that I didn't get to attend. Fuck my life.

Good thing I don't have any lab course next semester and learn most stuff by myself with books/online anyway. Only the discussion of homework that we normally do in a group might be a problem. Even if we are allowed to email the docent the pages it won't be nearly as effective as talking about it in class.

Our department is severely underfunded and most of our professor our young adjuncts BUT they know how to use Gmail groups and docs so they just send the notes to via pdf and can be easily reached online! My friend from another department cries to me every day.

40 minute limit, nobody ever heard of it, put total faith in it, kill their servers. Definitely talking about zoom lol. Confusing thing is then he goes right into a skype call sound. I totally expected this video from Andrew. Kid in a candy shop with anything like this. Also very accurate to what is really going on in our physics department. Fortunately our department doesn't currently have a lot of old crusties so I think it will work out.

My university actually has online STEM degrees and does it pretty well. I am an online student through this university so none of this effects me at all. I would watch the lectures after it was recorded in class and the professors used a stylus to write on a pdf for all notes which I could also see. Exams are done pdf style through ProctorU which has it's limitations but works nonetheless. The only changes are now on campus students are now online students and the professor just records themselves without students present. Labs are condensed to 1-2 weeks on campus for all distance students to attend in the summer so I hope this all clears up by then.
