University of Maryland students stage sit-in protest for ceasefire in Gaza

University of Maryland students on Wednesday held a sit-in protest for Gaza while calling for university leaders to make changes. Their protest joined college campuses nationally that have hundreds of students calling for a ceasefire.

TikTok allowed us to see the Israel side (posting get ready with me’s and making bread for the military) vs the Gaza side (dying from starvation, losing internet and not knowing if they were alive for days on end, dying from bombs, and the absolute destruction of Gaza). TikTok allowed people to read the Quran on live and show people how beautiful the religion is. Most Americans live in a bubble, until you burst it, they won’t see outside of it. I speak from experience, I know that things happen outside of the US and Gaza burst my bubble. I hope we can help everyone get peace because that what we all deserve as human beings.

My time in College was my best time of my life. On campus, I did what these students are doing these days; protests. Don't expect students to stay silent when they're dealing with injustice...
