University of Michigan Medical School White Coat Ceremony 2015

There’s nothing quite like a White Coat Ceremony to set the stage for the start of medical school at the University of Michigan. It is a celebration filled with warmth, happiness and hope for the future. At this year’s event, each of the 170 entering medical students were formally welcomed and cloaked with a white coat sponsored by a member University of Michigan Medical Center Alumni Society. This tradition symbolizes the connection to the Michigan family that starts at that moment and will continue for the rest of their lives.
