Looks very natural for what I can see. :)... I think I would color your hair a bit darker or make the topper a bit lighter so it blends even better.

Was saw your other topper video for the Bella Uniwig. The base of the Bella is larger, different construction. Which do you feel looks less bulky? The Bella is not conformed or shaped to fit the head as far as I can see, but the Claire is. What do you think? I am deciding of which to purchase. I like the Bella more simply so I can wear a deep side part. There is not enough mono on the Clair to wear a deep side part.

I find that ALL smaller base toppers fit and look more natural for a few reasons: the base is small so less hair density/looks more natural, the smaller base means its lighter and the clips are mainly at the top so it doesn't pull on the hair/tender areas as much, the smaller base also fits nice and flat on the head vs. a wider base which as you said isn't custom shaped to the head which can look bulky or too full. I prefer the Claire topper for sure, but I should add that I don't really wear deep side parts .

Hi I purchased the 5X5 naturally straight Brazilian topper from uniwig and I’m having trouble attaching the clips without it bunching up or lifting in the front. Do you have any pointers. My hair loss is identical to yours. Thanks (btw using my sons account so don’t let name fool you)

Hey! So I find that toppers need to be about 1/2 a CM away from the hairline with some of your natural baby hairs pulled out to hide the front of the topper. It shouldn't lift up if there's a centre clip in the front. Another solution is to take some bobby pins and pin it to your hair to help it lay flat.

Do you feel the clips pull on your natural hair throughout the day? I'd like to try a topper but I've always been concerned that the clips would put stress on my hair.

If you talk to the wig/topper experts at the salon they say no, I think it's all lies, and honestly, after a few hours you do feel them. Depending on where the clips fall (tender areas or more dense healthy areas), it can hurt more or less. Your best bet is to try on a few, wear them for a few minutes and see what feels most comfortable.

It looks good! I have become super self conscious about my thin hair lately so I started taking biotin. Have you tried this?

I started taking it a month ago and have seen some baby hairs sticking up in random places on my head!

I used to take biotin for YEARS. Apparently, according to the Trichology side of things, it's actually not very helpful. I personally found it did nothing for the 10 years I used it. Eating Eggs which is high in protein and biotin is a better option in my opinion.

Fortunately for you I think black toppers and wigs look the least fake. For some reason that color when it’s already your natural color just blend so well and I think it might be because the toppers in other colors (other than black) never can truly seem to match your color. But you never have that problem with black LOL. Looks fantastic.

You're right, I do think it's easier for darkbrown/black, any other colours that have natural high/low lights can be difficult to match, but there are some brands of toppers out there that are amazing and will do a very natural dye job!

Looking at your natural hair, it honestly doesn’t look thin to me! Yes, you can see the scalp, but not in a bad way. Have you considered getting your hair cut a bit shorter? That often gives incredible lift and volume. I have very very thin hair, but have not explored any of these options. This is how I found your channel.

I actually find that the shorter my hair is, the more styling/heat tools are needed, as my hair is very wavy and frizzy, it would be a huge pain if I had to style it every morning lol! Whereas now I can rock loose waves/throw it in a bun. My hair density dropped over 50% in the last 10 years, whereas some may actually start with a density like mine, I think only the the individual really knows if there has been thinning.

Hi i suffer from alupecia on my hair crown.. i would like to buy a topper .is it cofortable on the hair? Can it be harmful for the hair sculp and can i do a ponytail?

Good questions! It can be uncomfortable after a little while, as the clips tug at the hair. You'd have to try them out to see what feels best. All salons "claim" that toppers wont cause more thinning, but I think over time the clips will cause some traction hair loss. Depending on the type of topper you can have a ponytail.

They can be, depending on where the clips are placed and where your thinning is. I find the more clips and larger the topper base the less pain as the weight it better distributed.
