So if they believed he was trespassed in Sept, I don't actually see a problem with the arrest. If everything they have says this man is trespassed and he has returned that is a lawful arrest. Now that being said, we see after the fact the charge was changed because I am assuming the trespass didn't exist or was removed when the charges were dropped last time, THAT is a problem. Be it a failure to remove notice in a system or blatant disregard either way a problem. On the surface though, it appears to be "fine" but I doubt we will ever get the full story of what really happened or if there was a trespass in the system etc.

@@sevaulif it was a shopping mall or casino, you could trespass him forever, or for a year, or for the day. If you are being trespassed from a public place, it doesn't work like that. Especially a public place that offers se4vices to the public. For example, if u had to pay tickets, they could not trespass for a year from the place where you pay tickets. In fact, most trespasses from places like that onky last one day. If you are committing felonies or violent crime in the space, a judge can make a special trespass order where arrangements will be made if you need to pay for a ticket or something. But a judge may grant a special trespass order if you are a public safety risk.

As a former senior police officer, I find this incident unbelievable. In my opinion it is obvious this is a malicious arrest and a retaliatory prosecution. This type of behaviour by the police only harms community cohesion and respect for the police. Police should learn to welcome you in, let you film, even encourage you to do so. Then there is no story, nothing to report and you would probably happily move on, whilst the Police help make themselves look good.
