Have Doddy do these videos is awesome. It's gotta be huge for marketing.

It’s nice working for a brand that I’ve been riding and championing for so long. So Much cool stuff around the corner too!

As always, such intelligent and comprehensive commentary with perspective. Anyone remember Alf? Love ya man, but can't deny the likeness.

Ahhhhh ha ha 😂 yeah I remember Alf! I heard that once before years ago from someone else. Tried to forget it 😂

Inspired by Dak, over the winter I threw on a 50mm rise Spank bar. Gotta say that I love the rise as the bike feels more playful and there’s really no negatives as I can still carve into corners just as hard. I think this is gonna catch on

I’m already seeing a lot of 50mm bars - mostly Burgtec - around. They look quite normal! Always remember the 2, 2.5 and 3” (75mm) bars from Azonic back in the 90’s!

@@DoddyMTBtech I ran some violet-purple Azonic 2.5 risers on my AMP B-3 with a 'short' 90mm stem back in the early 90's - it looked ridiculous as the grips were a hair above the seat height (sacrilege!). People were very put off by my riser bar setup as it was quite a new thing back then. Felt very natural, as I'd come from mainly riding dirt bikes and MX. What goes around comes back around! Dak does seem to be reaching the design limits of a non-braced riser bar, and it'll be interesting to see if any of the propeller heads making handlebars take on the challenge.

hey @andewdodd Just bought a 2022 F-Podium, tried to install a SRAM XX1 powermeter but it touches the chainstay. Help! any recommendation regarding install? (no support here in argentina.) thanks!

Will the new Summum be available as a full 29er or only as a Mullet?

This bike is not close to production yet, so it’s hard to say to be honest. I’ll do something more in depth with these bikes as soon as I can, and I’ll find out where the riders are with adjustments

Why is it only one Mondraker bike has Shimano on it that they sell, and then on their van its SHIMANO. Yeti did this show the new bike online with SHIMANO parts on but it was a build from sponsorship.
@DoddyMTBtech7 ай бұрын
The race team is sponsored by Shimano. We have had limited Shimano on bikes partially due to availability off the back of supply chain problems. Choices to spec components happens a long time prior to bikes going on sale. I want to make a video with our product manager so I can understand this process more, and will be able to explain it properly
