I saw this video on your Facebook page & was hoping for a little more detailed KZbin video, but I am just blown away with how meticulous & beautiful this awesome built 392 turned out! Will the build sheet / photos be on your GENRIGHT JL Gallery? Man I wish I could afford a Jeep like this! I would own a Jeep of this caliber over any sports car that is in the same ballpark value. Can one use oem axles on the exs frame until there is enough money to buy the currie axles?

Of course you could, but you’d spend more money doing some of the same labor over again, like grinding the brackets off the stock axles and welding new brackets onto it, then later for the new axles you have to buy new brackets and weld those onto the new axles, and it’s a lot of brackets not just the control arms but you’d have to do the bracket for the steering components. Then you’d have to buy the steering components that fit the stock axles lengthwise (or custom make them), and when you get the new axles, you’d have to buy the new arms to fit the new axle (track bar front and rear as the stock axle and curries require different lengths, drag link, and tie rod.) I think the labor cost and the new brackets along with the new steering component arms, it’ll be about the cost of one of those axles already, which is why you CAN do it like you mentioned, but why would you do it, don’t make sense to do that way cuss you’re wasting close to $10k straight down the drain, and those money you’d throw away doing it your way could purchase one of the Currie axle already.
