Those sharpness test results genuinely did surprise me. I think we are now seeing more and more third party lens manufacturers come into the Z mount market. This is good news for consumers in terms of competitive pricing and choice 👍

I bought this lens a little while ago, and it’s perfect for portraits. The sharpness makes all the difference in my shots.

Great review Adrian, enjoyed the review. That lens seems to be an excellent value. I am glad that these manufactures are reaching out to you do these reviews. YOur point of view is much more sensible than some of those youtubers out there that would do something silly like compare this lens to the Nikon Z 85mm 1.2.

If I was going to compare this lens it would be up against another similar focal length budget lens in the same price range. @@adrianalfordphotography Adrian, BTW I don’t know of you know or noticed, Hugh Brownstone with the KZbin channel “Three Blind Men and An Elephant” mentioned you when he was reviewing the Viltrox 16mm f/1.8. He stated during the review that he is not an Astro photographer so he did not test it in that matter. He then mentioned, among other noted KZbinrs, your name for an Astro photography review.
