It's no wonder that despite lessons, technology improvements, launch monitors, force plates, and 3D, 99% of golfers still can't break 90. The same was true 50 years ago. There is either a fundamental problem with how golf is taught or the game is so difficult that only a gifted few can ever hope to play good golf.

Interesting point! Yes technology is for sure better and is a great tool. But I think getting the movements to match the person and getting a feedback loop from practice and playing is key to really move the needle.

When you see someone as good as Ian have a completely different look on the course compared to the range it points a long way towards the range being the problem. Why do golfers practice in an environment that's completely different to the field of play?
