I always loved their early records, their first two albums are among my favorite Death Metal albums! But because of this interview I'll listen into their latest album now!

As always, great interview! Unleashed took me through my military training in the early 90's. Nice Phlegein shirt, think they need more attention. Cheers! 🍻

Unleashed never disappoint and Johnny is one of the most articulate yet very powerful sounding death metal vocalists out there. Looking forward to hear the new album!

Great interview with a legend! I really like the deeper, more philosophical questions, and I would think the interviewees do too.

Thank you for interviewing Johnny "Holyman" Hedlund, sir! They were an inspiration from way back for me.

Great interview... Loved them for years. Surprised they are not more successful as they are very commercial compared to most
@RautaMetal7 ай бұрын
Thank you. Hard to say why they are not more successful commercial. Maybe because they are not as easy-to-listen as say Amon Amarth but their music isn't exactly dark & heavy death metal like Cannibal Corpse either.

keep in mind Johny hedlung was first in the band Nihilist but he quit the band. Later nihilist became entombed so their influences came mostly from entombed. Love this band so much one of the few bands that allways play other songs at their setlist most big bands and popular bands allways play the popular songs and a few extra's. Unleashed has the guts to change it and play every set another setlist. They also remmeber where there true fans are and allways come back thats why they allways come back at certain festivals

Wait, so this gentleman is saying Unleashed is more influenced by Thor (can) Or Judas priest , than Bathory, from there homeland??? There's a wild twist I didn't see coming... Bathory was the first (Viking metal) and the best. No one has ever done Viking metal better than Bathory. Probably never will. 😎
