X Sonic may very well be the most revolutionary mod the game has ever seen. This custom character took over the speedrunning scene and runners made insane times with him. The multiplayer content also has lots of effort put into it. X Sonic may very well have set the standard for character mods in the future.

A little trick I learned for X Sonic is that if you hold W while sliding and turn your camera, it will be easier to make use of the zip dash (I think it only works on manual and strafe mode)

I like this mod a lot! But I have 2 issues with it. One, whenever I point the camera to the left on my controller as Super Sonic, he fires his beam attack which can get really annoying if you're low on rings. And two, my dark emeralds never saved.

For the camera turn = beam attack, simply turn the Fire Axis to "off". The Fire Axis is tied to the camera settings and as a result can get really infuriating when maneuvering in the air. Took me a while to realize what it did. As for the Fake Emeralds not staying in your save, it's a bug of sorts. To my knowledge there is a solution to fix it (albeit slightly convoluted and I'm not fully sure about the steps required), but I kinda like hunting them down again just to hear that haunting Chaos Emerald jingle.

I don't know if anyone will read my comment, but I have a question regarding the mod, I know that Dark Sonic is obtained by searching for all the Drk Emeralds, but having to search for them in any mod becomes tedious, does anyone know if there is a command to unlock them all and also the command to use Dark Sonic 100% at the start of the act?

You mean if you can use Super Dark Sonic from the beginning of the act? You can do that but only in Time Attack. You open the X Sonic menu in a game (C3 + C1) and in one of the options it lets you select which form you want to use for the Time Attack (Full Dark is the one you have to select) And about the fake emeralds, NO, there is no command to automatically get them, the best thing you can do is repeat an act several times until you get all 7 (My advice would be to get them all in Greenflower Zone Act 1, and this only if you have a Save Slot for X Sonic)

No (only if you use the Ring Burst will it activate but if you are not doing that ability it will deactivate) BUT, with the mod that adds a lot of more monitors it is possible, since there is a Hyper monitor.
