This cake was wonderful even though I used regular stick butter. It was really thick batter and was not fluffy. Still taste good though. I made it a second time with the country crock butter and it worked perfectly. Fluffy and exactly 35 minutes in the oven. Whip cream topping is so good!

All praises, TMH. I stay using Country Crock. I feel like it is so much better, and the unleavened bread is moist. Yes, I love using whipped cream for frosting.I feel that regular frosting is too sweet. But, I'm glad that you tried both and you like it. All praises

Disappointed with my cake result, didn't work well with 2 sticks of butter so I'd go with 3 if anyone else is confused about how much butter to use.

You are welcome and yes, you are correct there no baking powder in this recipe. The reason why is this an Unleavened Bread so, during a Feast of Unleavened Bread which is according to the scriptures you don't partake in leaven you can read more about this in Exodus 12:15 or Leviticus 23:6

Shalom sis, this kingdom cake was very delicious! I had to remake it due to using butter in the first batch. However, after reading the comments I noticed you stated you used Country Crock. The Country Crock sealed the deal and I was able to execute. Simple recipe… If you could remake a video stating to use country crock that would be helpful. Often times we Dont always read the comments but rather follow the instructions in the description or video… 1 Corinthians 14:9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air. No, yeast is included in this Unleavened Bread. It is the shape of the pan it doesn't double in size nor rise.

Country Crock isn't butter. It's butter flavored spread. Butter will never cream with sugar and come out soft and creamy like that. Spread has water in it, butter doesn't. 🤷🏽♀️. Still looks good Sis. However, we have to be careful about what we call things in baking (in life). Correction with love.
