Even unlicenced, they look pretty nice overall. The 560 SEC and the silver 190E Evo II are my most favorites here, but the other 190E looks sweet as well. Please keep buying these for "educational purposes" LoL. Thanks for the presentation!

Apparently I read a post on Reddit that Hotwheels dropped the Ferrari licensing coz Ferrari was asking them for $5,000,000 yearly to keep their license and they didn't have the funds to pay for it. Who knows? Take it with a grain of salt. Licensing is definitely nice if automakers are willing to collaborate to make nice models, but sometimes they cannot like Ferrrari. So in that case, I would rather buy a unlicensed model than complain why Hotwheels does not have Ferrari licensing.

These days, nearly every major model maker has obtained Ferrari licensing via this new ponzi scheme called "sublicensing" and is banking on the fact that it has Ferrari licensing.

I think it's interesting that the third car has the same colors--heavy on the green and black--as the recent G Wagon custom made by Moncler.

That EVO III IS two doors Is Mercedes also misspelled on the EVO III?

For the third model, no diecast company in the world would have obtained licensing for it because it was an imaginary restomod made by a digital artist by the username of the_kyza. Hagerty collaborated with that artist to make that model a reality. As a car that does not exist in real life and was not made by Mercedes-Benz, that actually makes sense for it to not be licensed. One thing you did not notice is that the EVOIII as its called has two doors only. As for the black 190E, its a SEMA build by F7LTHY Motorsports and has a twin-turbocharged LS3 V8 engine making 1,000 horsepower which can be increased to 1,600 hp. The model got some aspects wrong. The car is not that lowered at the front in real life that the front clip touches the ground and the rear wing is incorrect. It has a different wing in real life. The interior is also a fully custom affair on that car.

These don't look like they roll very well at all. But thank you for giving them a push and then letting them go so we can see how freely (or not) they roll. Mr. Lamley likes to roll the car for you with his finger on it. Ha ha. I keep commenting (but he probably doesn't see them) that that doesn't prove anything. We can't feel how much resistance to rolling he feels or doesn't feel. Anyhow, thanks for rolling them so that we can see how freely or not they roll.

Nice! And very educational - these are too expensive for me, but they look like great models. How do you think they compare to the 190E from Mini GT?

Damn, I kinda want the first two. I just don't want to deal with hood ornaments on the 190. As for licensing, I say it's cool if you can get it, but I ain't gonna lose any sleep over it if anybody don't. Especially if they can pack in more detail in their models than a licensed one.

Yeah. Unless there's something I don't understand, it seems that licensing is NOT on the same level as copyright infringement. I've composed music, and it's definitely hurtful if someone steals your song and records it and makes money off of it. But releasing a nice diecast model of a real car would seem to me to just help make the real car more popular and perhaps lead to more sales. So I don't see how it's a big moral dilemma.

@@drgruber57 Hey I produced music too, but as an amateur. And I stress the word "amateur" lol. I 100 percent agree with everything you posted though. Those auto manufacturers are still big fish while many of these diecast brands are really just little guys. Plus it's basically free advertising for those auto companies anyway.

I don't care for models having mediocre details that are licensed and sell for overpriced amounts when I can have a better model for half or sometimes a quarter of the price. I'm here for the actual product.

There's so many unlicensed model that have great details and castings..you just have to choose..for me I buy unlicensed model that don't have brand livery like for example gulf or HKS that don't fit with the models...Focal Horizon, Street Weapon/Warrior, HKM, BSC, Time Micro/Model, Stance Hunter and so on...there's so many to choose from
