Unlock mounts in End of Dragons

Thank you as this video made my life simpler in Path of Fire trying to get Mastery Points to progress, yet be casual in doing the story line. As it seemed that I need the Springer to get most of the Mastery Points I found wandering, but needed the Mastery Points to unlock the Springer. This simplified things by just getting the Springer. Now back to casually doing the rest of Path of Fire.

I have some update info on the raptor mount. If you create a free account in the fall of 2022 you get a 10 hour raptor mount. If you purchase the End of Dragons expansion you get to keep the mount. No traveling needed. Thank you for the info on the rabbit/Springer mount.

That’s what I did too for the Raptor. I now got the Springer using this method.

You actually purchased EOD just to create this Video, Bravo, not 1 in 100 would have gone that far. Much Appreciated TYVM, I would say however to anyone who means to try this, its not hard, but it is a very long into section, so budget yourself a good hour to complete. Its not all talking heads, and you can't skip through all of it. Still super useful TY again.

For me having path of fire and earning my mounts was a part of the fun. If you like the game I highly recommend buying heart of thorns and path of fire as you will have tons of more options on making gold and the adventures in both of these expansions are pretty cool imo. I have played pretty much everyday for 7 years now and I'm still enjoying every expansion.

Not really a question, could be a bug, part of the story that is active, or have been patched: When I joined a Hero points train when the new expansion was a week old, one person was not able to travel to New Kaineng. He was on the part where he needed the pass from MinSec. I, and two other people, tried to pick him up by boat but still got blocked from entering New Kaineng. Dude had to finish that story part to enter NK and continue the train. It could have been because he was on the MinSec pass part of the story. Maybe that's why the guides mentioned finishing certain part of the story to access NK? Also, hi and welcome back! 👋👋👋

Question: If all you own is End of Dragons and you unlock the mounts that way, does that mean you're completely locked out of the mastery trees for the mounts in Path of Fire (even if you decide to purchase the expansion at some point) or can you still upgrade the mounts later down the line once purchasing the previous two expansions?

the trees are locked till you buy path of fire the only way to level the mounts mastery is via path of fire zones

You might need to discover that zone (walk to it). This should clear the fog of war on the map for your character. What you can also do is Pause the video when he has the map open, as it is showing the locations for the hearts as well. Go to the locations shown, and you'll find the hearts.
