This video has helped me so much. I no longer yank my manny up, its more of a "floating up" into position. Way more control, still working on getting them stretched out longer. But thanks a ton fellas.

Hell yeah Jake! Glad it helped a bit. Hope you and the kids had a great Christmas. Liams bike looks sickkkkkk

@@BikeSchoolOfficial i have even been watching the videos that are clearly out of my range of tricks. Yall make me want to learn even more than I lead do. Tryin to teach Liam to manny as well as get more comfortable jumping small jumps. Love to see a "simple kids video" about how to properly jump inclines. He is hopping off curbs and riding down 5 foot quarters. Only been off training wheels for a bit over a year (1.5 years) now. He got super stoked for the shout out, and hearing Doug shout out "jake" in the chat last weekend

Great explanation, especially comparing good v bad. The drop down was my bogey, videoed myself earlier for the first time and it was easy to spot. The launch has improved 1000%, now its all about sustain & direction. Thanks for the lesson. It’s clearly tough for you to do a bad one “properly” as you’ve developed the skills to repair the situation 😉.

Been trying manuals now for a few months and all I clear is one car par spot..😟 no enough to know if I found my balance point...how do you know if you hit that balance point?
@avidgamer56763 жыл бұрын
Sup Ho Lee, If you are clearing one spot then you are hitting that balance point already just need to maintain it dude. I have the same issue just keep at it and work on the wiggle of the weight transfer. I been doing better at rocket manuals so maybe try working on them for a few days then go back to regular and vice versa.
@jessiesolano96612 жыл бұрын
Hey bud it helps me personally to do 25 squats before i start to practice your balance point i guess squats activate your legs get the blood flowing where you need it

I think a lot of ppl think the “L” position is what their body is suppose to bend to, but I believe you’re referencing moving your butt down then back, right? Or am I mistaken lol
@BikeSchoolOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Exactly, down and back. Making an L shape with your butt
@BikeSchoolOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Or a backwards L shape depending on which way you’re looking at it haha!
@OG-Gonzoe2 жыл бұрын
@@BikeSchoolOfficial it legit works so much better than what I was doing before I saw this vid. You can see the difference when you find the balance point, I actually ended up on my back out of excitement lol but I didn’t smack my head, just a little soft tissue 🥲

This trick like every other trick I’m trying is becoming a nightmare, because I don’t have anyone to ride with to tell me what I’m doing wrong. Back in the day I had the homies and we all pushed each other. It’s so important riding with other people, especially if those people are way better than you.
